Every forum needs one, so here's ours: The Official Angra Fan Guild Introduction Thread. Please don't make your own threads to introduce yourself, as those will be deleted. Please introduce yourself here. This is mandatory for all new members. It is important for us to know who you are if we're going to mock you later. ^_^ Just kidding, but seriously, you should at least post here if you have been accepted into the guild. I'll go first:
Name: Krad99
A Bit About Me: I am a guy, living in Canada, and I'm a major Power Metal fanatic. Additionally, I am a major bibliomaniac (person who reads a lot of stuff and has lots of books). I have listened to and have a favorite song from about 90%+ of the known Power Metal bands out there, so I can almost certainly give you advice if you ask nicely ^_^
Ok, you don't need to follow that format, but that was merely an example to show you how easy it is.

Excellent, I hadn't thought of a thread for introductions.
As you may or may not already know, I am the group Captain.
I am from Taunton, Massachusetts in the United States. Currently, I am a full-time college student, majoring in Computer Science.
I first heard of Angra from a friend, who heard of them from another freind's freind. The first song I heard by Angra was the song Metal Icarus, and I never was the same.
I too am a weathered Power Metal fan. Actually most of the music on my computer is Power/Progressive Metal. The truth is, no other type of music can compare to the sheer epic nature Power Metal. Not to mention the amount of insane talent required to have a good Power/Prog Metal band.
I hope this group brings Angra fans together and maybe even creates more fans, through guild advertisement.

Hello. I just joined on getting a random invitation. ^^ Which I didn't mind by the way. I'm assuming this was because Angra is listed in my Interests box. xD
Anyway, I don't know what I can say about me, and I don't really fancy leaving constants behind (since people change, and this post would likely become invalid after a while). But if you want to ask something, or talk to me, I'm okay with that. xDD
Just in here to say hello and wave to people. *sits and munches on cookies*

Hey, as the screen name says, my name is Zephier. I'm a huge power metal fan, my favorite being DragonForce (no matter how many people hate it, I've been a fan since Sonic Firestorm), but I quickly got into Angra after hearing Metal Icarus. My favorite thing about them would have to be Andre, as his voice is just awesome in everything he does (Angra, Avanatasia...). I don't have a favorite Angra song. I love Viking/Folk Metal a lot as well.

If you like Andre, you should definately check out the band Shaman (Andre is lead vocals in their first two albums) and also Andre's new solo project, Time to be Free which, I might add, really shows off Andre's vocal and piano talent.

I love when a band can have good piano in their music in both fast and slow songs. I'm always on the lookout for new music in all metal genres.

A bit about me: I like all kinds of music. Hip-hop is probably my favorite at the minute, but it's constantly changing. I've just come from a prog. metal phase, and before that it was Electronic/Rave music. I live in England, and no-one can be more proud of their heritage. -Blows nose on a Union Jack hankerchief- brings a tear to my eye everytime someone brings up Britain.
I'm a cockney fanatic, even though i'm not from London, and I like food far too much.
Silly little facts, but I don't know what else to give.
Appearance: Really, I look like a cross between a metalhead and a hippy. I dress like a hippy but I have metalhead hair? x3

First off, thanks for the invite, I do love Angra. I'm really into almost all genres of Metal, I found Angra a while back while listening to an internet radio thing, my favorite song I would have to say is The Voice Commanding You. I like lots of other metal bands, Dragonforce, Bullet For My Valentine, Scar Symmetry, Chthonic, Dark Tranquility, Disarmonia Mundi, Maximum The Hormone, and a bunch more. My life pretty much revolves around music, currently I'm practicing guitar to one day be in a band, though its coming along pretty slowly XD but yea.

Hey Kazicmir. I saw Dragonforce live in Folkestone, and i'm going to have to say they sucked. Havn't heard much of the others, I like a bit of BFMV, little too emo for me though.
Good luck with the guitar, i've been playing for 3 years and i've only just learned to sweep, slap, and tune harmonic =\
It's difficult on your own, hope you have a good teacher :3

Hello all, I expect that you found me through my interest box, but congratulations! You're the first guild to catch my interest! xd
Anyways, My nicknames are Serena, Cartoon, or Shortie.
Where to start...I like all music pretty much, just none of that Rap and Hip-hop stuff. I don't neccessarily have a favorite song or band, but if you threatened me at gun or sword point I'd have to say..."Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas, but then the next moment it would change to something by Metallica or Angra or Nickelback...and, well, I wouldn't be around here anymore, let's leave it at that. whee
Anyways...I'm an artist, big time, but when it comes to Photoshop [which I'm a rookie at but getting better] I just suck. Ha. I'm more of a get-covered-in-red-and-white-finger-paint-and-love-every-moment-of-it type of person. My brother is the musical-artist one. :]
But yes, Angra is high up on my favorites list, my favorite song by them being Rebirth, the first song I heard by them. I've been getting this odd feeling that I haven't listened to all their songs so if you have any suggestions of which ones I should listen to don't be afraid to share them. x]
Anything else...favorite colors, foods, stuff like that, just ask. I love random questions.
