-Brooklyn-  Name: Brooklyn RP color: Olive D.O.B: we'll just say Aug 20th. Personality Brooklyn likes to meet new beats and even their guardians, he can be a bit on the sarcastic side and more often then not he's called a smart allick by Myst. He's fairly level headed and gets along relatively well with others. Background ehhhhhh, working on this part ninja Nothing to see here....yet. Physical Description Brooklyn's a Whalen, a creature that resembles the Centaur. His humanlike top half is covered in a medium brown, redish fur, where his lower horselike half is coated in a light olive green fur. His long tail is the same color as his top half. Brooklyn has blue/grey eyes that light up as he smiles. He has 4 groups of three horizontal waves on his body, one under his eye, one on his shoulder and one on each front leg. His hoofs are a deep green that he always keeps shiny.

Other Family Now I've got alot of companions so only the ones closest to Brooklyn will be listed here >>  When Myst is out or busy Tara is left in charge, she helps Brooklyn with his reading and writing, she makes sure he keeps up in his studies.  Its just a bottle right now but its in Brooklyn's care until it becomes more then a bottle surprised

PersonalityLeo's an Astronomy Muse, so he's very mystical and down to earth, despite his astrological alignment. He's always seen drinking herbal tea, and rarely comes out during the day, unless Myst drags him to the Cafe. He loves the night, and frequently bickers comically with his Beat brother Brooklyn.
Background. Myst is not his first guardian, he had a previous care giver, but due to circumstances Leonardo had to find another care giver. Shadow saw this as an opportunity to give him a good home, and provide company for Brooklyn.
Physical Description.Leonardo's a very starry beat. Literally. He's got a dark blue base coat, and is covered in stars. His wings are a deep blood red color and he's got a little fluttery friend that follows him everywhere. He calls him Flitch.

Brooklyn here, my guardian Myst is busy at the moment so she let me fill in the blank pages of this journal. In all honesty i'm not even sure what its purpose is but she assures me its important, she seems to know what she's talking about so i'll take her word for it. Well sometimes she knows what she's talking about, other times i wonder about her mental stability and her sanity, but thats not unusual biggrin Since Myst has been busy alot i've been doing my studies with Tara, and the other day i was allowed to go to the Cafe by myself! There wasnt anyone else there but it was still interesting. I was kinda hoping to see the other Whalen, but he wasnt there. My tail's still braided from Chip, she's nice, a bit to innocent at times but i guess we all have our faults. I myself dont have any, altho Myst calls me a smart-a** on more then one occasion. The green bottle that was left in my care hasnt done anything, i'm begining to think mom just gave me a bottle of liquid goop as a joke, to see how long it would be before i cought onto the joke. But once again she assures me something will happen to it, i know its important because she told me if i dropped it or spilled it i would find myself with a bamboo oar up my gangie ((*watches Van Wilder too much >> *)) now i'm not 100% sure what or where that's located on my person, in fact i'm not entirely sure i have that particular part but it sounds painfull none the less, so i'll humour her and keep the bottle safe. Gack! Mom wants to take over the journal now, i'm being told to go work on my studies *waves* Bye!

Myst here, Brooklyn's growing faster then i can keep up with him. He's so curious, but he can also be so moody at times, i'm learning to not interfere too much but sometimes you want to protect your baby from getting hurt. Now i know Brooklyn's not actually my baby, but i cant help but look at him that way. Without guidance, gods only know what he might get himself into, and i'm completely dedicated to helping him be the best Brooklyn he can be, if thats what he wants. I know work calls me away sometimes, and i dont get to spend as much time with him as i'd like, but someones got to work to keep the growing boy fed. The other night when i was tucking him in, he called me mom, my eyes watered and he thought he'd said something wrong, i had to explain to him that some tears were good. There's still so much he doesnt know, i just hope i'm the right person to help him. Well its getting late and supper wont cook itself -if only eh?- I shall write again soon, and if not, Brooklyn knows more whats going on then i do heart

It has been slow the last few day's, Mom's been looking for a job and a place to live, so its just been me and Tara. Which is alright, i understand mom's busy right now to better our lives, at least thats what Tara told me. Its been quiet around the house, not really alot to report. Right now me and mom are in the Cafe she likes so much, she's job and apartment hunting. I'm just sitting accross from her writing and having some hot chocolate. She said she has a surprise for me, but it wont be for another while, if at all. So i'm a bit curious as to what she's talking about. I guess i'll eventually find out. And now i'm off to explore the Cafe.

Brooklyn's so patiant with me xd He's been well behaved while i look for a job and another place for us to live. Thats why i've been scarce around the Cafe, life has a way of keeping the most dedicated away from where they want to be. Altho i wouldnt say i'm the most dedicated, I know others who manage to balance life and the Cafe better then I. But then again, i'm new to this whole getting out on your own thing, so maybe with time i'll learn to juggle life. Well its back to the papers i go.

My new care-giver gave me this book, she said its for me to keep all my thoughts in. Its still taking me a while to get used to the new enviroment, its not bad, just not what i'm used to. My beat sibling Brooklyn is an alright character i suppose, no outward signs of anything alarming. And Myst is a alright guardian as well, she's busy most of the time, but always finds time for us. The other creatures in her care are quite the variety indeed, ranging from small to large, good to evil, intelligent to...not quite so intellectually gifted, crafty to lazy. I found another creature that shares my passion for the night sky, but for the most part i spend time alone. Altho i'm not really alone because Nairn gave me a Familiar, its a curious little flying dustbunny that resembles my markings, it doesnt have a name or gender (that i can tell at least, i mean do dustbunnies have destinct genders?) so i've just been calling it Apollo, and much to my surprise the flying allergine responds relatively well to it. I'm assuming anyways. I've been to the Cafe a few times, but havent interacted with any of the other beats, for the most part i just sat on the counter sipping my herbal tea and observing their behaviors. Some are more interesting to watch then others, and a few need to be smacked upside the head, in my opinion anyways. And now its time for me to depart, the suns coming up and its my cue for bed.

Its been a while since i mosied into the journal my guardian gave me, i've been busy, and so has my guardian. I realized its not so bad here, granted Brooklyn can be a bit obnoxious but i realized he cant help that. And Shadow is supportive and caring, a bit busy and easily blustered at times, but otherwise she's alright. She doesnt harp at me about me being up all night to watch the stars, she stays up with me sometimes in fact. Its impossible to talk to Brooklyn about the stars, he thinks they're fireflies stuck in the clouds rolleyes thus is a humour muse i suppose. Its been pretty un-eventfull lately, tottering around the house, popped in at the cafe a few times, Shadow keeps pushing this play date with Jan and her beats, it could be interesting, and a chance to meet other's like myself, but if Brooklyn's an example of what other beats are like, maybe i'm better off alone. And Lunch has been made, which means i shall take my leave and let twinkle toes write, or attempt to put together a cohearent sentence.
