Shaynne Hollywood Randle  Her thoughts aren't always mine: ashlovesdraco! My Dad named me: Shaynne || Hollwood || Randle You should call me: Hollywood You should NOT call me Shaynne, Randy, Hood, White-Trash, Little Buddy (Only Danny can call me that) I'm seen as: A Greaser, A Hood, Good-Looking, Optimistic, Carefree, A Person That Can Understand I see myself as: Everything they think, but most definetly not a hood! Let's get this straight, I'm a: guy And I pick up the: girls The weird hat put me in: Hufflepuff The day I was born: November 8 And the stars say I'm a Scorpio I'm: 15 years old I've been at this weird school for: 5 years now My parents are: Derreck and Louanne Randle My bloodline is: half-and-half  The thing that helps me do magical things is: 8 inches long, made of: almond wood, with a core of: phoenix feather The silvery thing that protects me is a: Horse My used to be "pet" was a: Horse Which I named: Mickey Mouse Yes or no to quidditch?: No, but I am Melanie's biggest fan though I am in Hufflepuff What you get when you check me out: Hollywood is best known for his hair, which is pretty common for "greasers" like him. It's black and long in the front and in the back ( but you can still see his eyebrows). On the sides, it's cut short, so you can see his ears. It's normally all greased up with plenty of hair grease, with his long hair in the front appearing like bangs. It curls in the back and often is worn in a messy style. Right under Hollywood's eyebrows are his darkish blue eyes that seem to "dance." They are often bright because he simply loves life. With thin lips and a slightly round chin, this completes Hollywood's face. His younger brother does tell him that his face appears sensitive and reckless at the same time.
Though he doesn't play quidditch he does play a few muggle sports, so he has a bit of muscle. With the little muscle he has, he appears skinny and somewhat lanky. He stands at 6 feet and one inch, so basically he tends to be taller than most. Due to his height, he has big feet, but since he is used to his height, he isn't the least bit clumsy. Hollywood is often caught wearing plaid button ups, but with the all the buttons left open and the collar up; a white shirt underneath it; and blue jeans. He has a leather jacket, but only wears it in the cold or at the beginning of a rumble. Sneakers complete his somewhat "fashion sense". During the summer he is almost always seen in his DX gas station uniform, because that's where he works during the summer breaks. The uniform includes a baseball cap and a blue button up.  This is my life story: Hollwood's dad was what you'd call an actual greaser. He had the hair, the looks, the attitude, came from the wrong side of town, had little money, a nice switchblade, and the gang of tight friends. He has a liking for odd nicknames, you could tell he did when he named his three sons. Hollywood's mom was what you could call a social, (came from the right side of town, had money, good grades, plenty of friends) but one with a heart, oddly enough. Normally socials were too cool to feel anything and the greasers felt too violently. But things were different between Hollywood's parents. They were all for their groups, but they sometimes felt different from the rest. Sometimes they wondered why their groups did certain things. They met a drive-in movie without cars during the summer, and ended talking to each other more than watching the movie. They hit it off real good and discovered that the groups they hated did have some good to them. It wasn't until they were married at the age of eighteen when Louanne told Derreck that she was a witch, which was the reason why she was gone all year except during the summer. Though it was hard for Derreck, he accepted that fact, because he loved Louanne.
The two lovers had their first kid Danny Dragster Randle, about twelve months after their marriage. He wasn't magical, but the next child, Shaynne, was. But it wasn't a fact they knew until later. Born with his dad's and mom's looks combined, Hollywood had a personality of his own. Even at a young age he seemed to understand everyone and just about everything. He had energy that was hard to settle down, he just couldn't do the same thing for too long. Buy him a new toy and he'd be tired of it after a week. So he was kind of hard to handle at certain points of his childhood, since he constantly wanted to be doing something exciting. One thing that got him into a lot of trouble was blowing off all his energy during fist-fights with other boys. (He hasn't lost a fight yet) His mom was concerned but his dad said no sweat, it's the greaser instinct in him. When Hollwood turned 6, he finally became an older brother. His brother was named Stephen Zazu Randle.
Like Danny, Hollywood went out for football. He wasn't quick enough to be a running back, had a good throwing arm but there was always somebody with a better one so not a quarterback, and he normally found a pretty girl in the bleachers so he couldn't pay attention long anough to be a wide receiver. So lineman it was. Though he was skinny, he was quite good at tackling the people, he just wouldn't let go. It didn't matter if the guy was twice his size and weight, he'd still be there holding onto to his jersey, being dragged. It was like some sort of never ending contest or something for him.
At the age of 10, he became atatched to a golden horse. It belonged to the man that owned that whole ranch, but he always saw it as his. He named it Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse would always come when Hollywood called for him. The horse was quite mean to others, but it took a great liking to him. He wouldn't bite him, he would just nibble at his pulled up collar or try to mess up his greased up hair. When Mickey Mouse was sold Hollywood cried himself to sleep, he really did love that horse. What he didn't know was that Mickey Mouse was worth a great amount, so he was bound to be sold sooner or later. (Stephen labeled him "horse-crazy" when he became older)
Danny and Hollywood were out in the backyard practicing cartwheel, round offs, and such when a surprise letter came. Hollywood not really caring continued practicing these fany tricks with Danny. When it was close to lights out time, he finally went inside and got the letter from his mom's excited face. He understood that his mom was excited from him on something, but he didn't know what her facial expressions and short breaths were all about. The letter from Hogwarts made Hollywood very confused and uneasy. For once, he didn't understand something, not even the tiniest bit. His mother explained to him that he was different, like her, and that different was okay. Little Hollywood was still unsure but he made do with it since his mom said so.
While his parents were going out to dinner one night, they were killed by a very drunk social who was coming from a rodeo that he and his friends blew a lot of money on and lost it. The news was all over the television and newspapers. All the Randle kids were interviewed and so were the drunk socials. The true story of how socials and greasers acted was told, but not believed by many. Their death devestated Hollywood and Stephen, both crying their eyes out at the funeral, but Danny didn't crack a tear. This was the beginning of Hollywood's dislike for most socials. This made Danny the "father figure" for Hollywood and Stephen. Hollywood looks up to Danny, he loves how Danny carries himself and can take care of people. But he, himself, can only understand them.
Though the past few years have been hard on everyone in the Randle family, things have gone through. Their only worry now is that they might be seperated, by having Hollywood and Stephen get sent to a boy's home. But Danny will never lose his brothers like he did his parents. Hollywood still worries very much about this situation, not wanting to be seperated from Danny.  What you get when you hang around me: When you start to hang around Hollywood or observe him for a few minutes, you'll see that he has lots of energy. Whether it's tapping his foot, squirming in his seat, or making funny faces to pass the time, he's always doing something. In the summers when he goes home he likes to blow this energy off in meaningless fitst-fights, rumbles, and drag-races. He gets into fights everyonce in a while around Hogwarts though he tries his best not to for Danny's sake. Hollywood might be a chip-off-the-block of his father and mother combined (looks wise), but he has a personality that is totally all his own. He isn't even slightly like either of his brothers.
Here's the thing, Hollywood has a sense or "talent" of understanding just about everyone and everything. It was something he was born with. Even is he's doing something important, he'll drop everything to listen to the other person's problems. It's always like this with him, no matter what. But when he has a problem, most of the time people don't listen. Since they are so used to him listening to them. When this happens, Hollwood runs away as fast and as far as he can, so nobody can see him cry. He's known as the "bawl-baby" in the Randle family because sometimes he just can't take anything anymore. His brothers always fight since their parents are gone, and he's always in the middle, the middle-man he often calls himself. This is a side that is often seen with him (if you hang around him long enough), but is a side he doesn't want you to see.
He's a great Elvis impersonater and does sound like him when he sings. Though he knows that he'll never be as good as the King, he always likes to think so. He won't be afraid to dress up tuff, style his hair differently, shake his hips, and thrust his pelvis around. He finds it quite fun and will show you how "great" he is if you ask.
Unlike the other greasers in his tight gang, he doesn't drink or get high just because. Hollywood just gets high on life really. Because he loves life most of the time and wants to live it to the fullest. But he's not so innocent in other aspects. At rodeos and rumbles he's known to brag and join in the talking dirty with his friends. Even if it's some girl he and his gang digs, if the gang starts talking dirty, he will too. Just so he can see what kind of patience the girl has. Hollywood just loves life, so it's hard to get the bad and realities of the world through to him, so when it does get through to him, it hits him hard. Real hard. I dig: Girls || my brothers Danny and Stephen || Melanie Parks || cars || rumbles || my job at DX || rodeos || fist-fights to blow off steam || Elvis music || being a greaser || listening to others || anything chocolate || warm days || sunsets || summertime || and life in general. I don't dig: People who won't listen to me || the thought of being forever seperated from Stephen and Danny|| being a bawl-baby || being the middleman || when the gang and I loose a rumble || most cold-hearted socials || being made fun of for who I am. Something else about good 'ol me: Almost everybody in Hollywood's tight gang smokes. Hollywood smokes when he wants to look tough, when his jumpy nerves need calming, of if something is really bugging him. He doesn't have an addiction though like the rest of his gang. But, he has a hard time in school since it's almost always the same rountine over and over again. He is tutored by Melanie Parks, in transfiguration especially, but he doesn't mind, well, not too much.

What you think of Hollywood: "Even though Hollywood's only a year older than me, I kind of view almost as if he's a second big brother to me. Since we're in the same house, he's always around to look out for me and make sure I'm doing all right. He's a great Elvis impersonator! You should see him! He's got the voice, clothes, hair, and the moves most importantly! It's a lot of fun to watch! He's in the tight threesome with Melanie and I, and I can tell he has feelings for Melanie. I just might try to help get them together. On and in his words: He digs pretty cool. Haha"
History, if any: Really good friends since Mac's first day, she wasn't afraid to approach him. Same house, slight age difference, who cares!?
Plot ideas: Mac will definetly continue being there for Hollywood and she'll try to hasten up the process of him and Melanie getting together.

My Status...Currently  I'm feeling: Confused, why did Melanie take so long to come meet up with Mac and I? I guess I'll ask her later...
I'm thinking: 'Well at least the train ride is almost over.'
I'm with: My single trunk, two of Melanie's, Mac Alexanders, Ms. Lyla Dearest, and Melanie Parks.
I'm wearing: My hufflepuff uniform. So that means a grayish sweter, yellow and black tie...wait a minute..why am I telling you this? You can actually look to your right.
I really hope that: We can eat soon, those snack from the snack trolley just weren't enough to fill my stomach. So let the sorting go by as fast as possible!
