A group of floating islands that closely resemble one another. These islands surround the one's that have League building's on them. The Yellow Sands, however, are not shaded by the Parapioggia Della La Persone, the giant structure that shades the League. So the heat is unbearable, anyone going out is given special equipment...even so it is still undesirable conditions. Various creatures come out at night when it's cooler, so if you do go then go during the day...yes with the blazing sun, but dieing of dehydration...or being eaten by a Sand Worm...most would take on the sun before the latter. Allways travel with a skilled one, groups of bandits have been known to make dwellings in the rock formations.
All in all, the Yellow Sands are a place you would not want to be, the only reasons one may venture out are. To test out the Yellow Horizon's technology, dig for what treasures have yet to be unearthed..or intense training. But there is one good point of coming to the Sands.
The Hour of the Dancing Sands, occurs during the sunset..while the sun is setting the Umbrella follows it, causing an eclipse of sorts...but the sunset's beauty is still seen in the skies. On the orange and red background, the yellow sand being pushed and turned by the winds, moves from island to island...'dancing' at each stop. It truly is a sight that one must see....very rarely does even the curren Maester Oisin Solis, neglect to watching this. It has turned into somewhat of a daily tradition.

Oisin muttered as he, still calmly, looked across the area.
"Why? It's nothing here!"
He ignored her and continued looking, simply scanning the sands. He figured that he'd be somewhere with an absense of people. Still flipping a coin.
"..and be careful with that..."

At once, Oisin felt another heat on his back, not the physical heat of the climate... This was the natural energy given off by someone with high mana... And, unmistakable about who's as well. A figure wearing a very large skin and hide coat with thick fur lining stood a few paces behind him, his huge hood obscuring most of his face.
"Jeeeeeez... Why anyone would want to spend time out here is beyond me, amicus...

Oisin glanced back seeing, of course...who else but the Blue Saturnalia Maester himself. Aside from the mana, his outfit was far more than clue enough.
"You came to the desert?" More of a rhetorical question than anything. He wasnt suprised, just spewing abit of stereotypical babblings...most people he knew considered Selkie's water-loving people, but out in the desert. Even if he was joking about this...he could name a few in his own League.
"..even more, wearing that coat?"
'Odd as allways'
"Odd as allways" Oisin repeated smiling back at the other Maester.

"Perhaps because it's in triple-digit-degree temperature here? I'm recycling cold air under my coat just to stay alive out here... Oh, and nice going, you nearly smushed me going down your fancy elevator..."
He said them like they were criticisms, but they both knew he was speaking playfully. Albiore found seldom reason to get "serious"...

'Shh'
"Hm?" He feigned thoughtfulness and looked up towards the Umbrella. "And here I was thinking my aim, was on point." Oisin mumbled in quite a serious tone. Of course he was joking.
"What brings you over to the Yellow side?"

[note: It's actually pretty common for Maesters to enter the Academy, because they are so famous there, no one knows what they look like- they're just names to students.]

Ignored. Oisin, instead of listening to her..began to head back towards the League, towards his airship then to the Academy.
[xD just skip..all of those places[exits to academy]]
