I just finished reading Godchild and the ending touched me, so sad. Although all ending for anime seem sad, even a good ending, just because it ends it's sad, what are some of the saddest endings you can think of. Of course Samurai X has got to be on the top of that list.

Burutani Kasai I just finished reading Godchild and the ending touched me, so sad. Although all ending for anime seem sad, even a good ending, just because it ends it's sad, what are some of the saddest endings you can think of. Of course Samurai X has got to be on the top of that list. i think about it all day and i also feel sad about the ending not sad sad but how it finished and not continueing but i dont cry about

As odd as it sounds the anime thats at the top of my list for sad endings is Neon Genesis Evangelion, but then most people have to watch it a few times to figure out what the heck happened. What got me was the emotional state of the characters in the end.

Cowboy Bebop was extremely sad. That very last scene when the camera slowly zoom's out playing that music. It's just heart wrenching.

I think Cowboy Bebop had a sad ending..
As well as Full Metal ALchemist...either way, the ending movie or just the series, the resulting reality really really sucked for the brothers...even if they ended up together...

well...to be honest, i rly havent gotten sad because of endings.... if i get sad, its because that the anime is over... but one anime that touched me was DNangel....idk why but i rly liked it

One of the last episodes of s-CRY-ed, when Scheris Adjani gave her life to save Ryuhou Tairen. It brought a tear to my eye.

That music at the ending credits is so beautifully sad. Spike... I agree- yoko kanno is an amazing musician, the whole soundtrack for bebop is amazing.
