I think the title mkes it pretty clear what this topic is about. ^.^
Personally, I just like the way their personalities are so different, and the way they interact. I think they'd probably have a lot of cute little arguments, but it'd never be anything too serious. Plus, its got the opposites attract thing going for it.

I love the Opposites Attract pairings, so Taang was an obvious choice for me. And I really think they're right for each other, since she challenges him in ways that nobody else really does. Katara and Sokka (to an extent) agree with him on pretty much everything, so it's nice to see someone who doesn't always get along with him. And they're (kind of) the same age, and I think that makes them more compatible than Katara/Aang, since I think he's a bit too young for her.

It's their interaction and situational conflict that I find alluring. It's just so much more interesting and gives off that wow factor/challenge.
With him: Toph is slowly brought out of her shell especially with his bubble personality. Weather she would admit this fact or not he would be the one that she can have a soft spot for.
With her: Aang can't just fall back all easy comfy with her, he's gotta work harder to become better of himself. She's not willing to be the pillow he'll fall back on in a tough situation but she will stand by his side through it all and give the shove he needs to get through those times, getting stronger in the process.
Yet both are energetic, fun/travel loving ect ect. I think their differences will benefit each other in the end, both are likely to have arguments but the perfect relationship needs that to go stronger. With certain other pairings (we all know which one that is) there is none of that conflict that can prove the strength in the relationship. Real love needs a high powered explosion, not a chemically grown flower in a protected nursery!

It's kind of all that's been mentioned, really. She's so much better for him than Katara is...I mean, she challenges him to do better, and doesn't baby him. Which is something Aang has never really come up against, except for when the Monks told him he'd have to accept his duties as the Avatar. He ran away from that, but he doesn't run from Toph anymore. And He gave her her freedom. There is just that huge thing to consider. He gave her the chance to get out, away from her overbearing parents, and she wanted this so badly, that she ran away.
I mean, it is just as my friend Aki Yasu said: Earth anchors Air, Air lifts Earth up.

I'm not sure if I asked this before, but has she ever considered joining the guilds? She sounds like she'd fit in really well. =3

Taang has all the elements to make a perfect couple, and there are these bonds that tie them both together.

They are so cute together and I think they balance each other out. IT's the exact reason why I like Zutara. Opposites attract. And if Zutara and Taang hapens then everyone wins and I can die happy smile

Fire Queen Azula i really think that they are good for eachother XD aang some times needs that extra push and sometimes toph needs someone who can help her slow down XD Agreed. Toph is probably the only person, aside from Zuko, who would be able to be blunt and straight forward with Aang about what he needs to do. And Aang is the only person who know how to calm her down and reason with her.
... To bad Toph couldn't talk some sense into him during the Ozai battle. >.>

When I started liking Taang, I was looking at their height. And that was the only reason why. And I still can't remember any other reasons. -.-
