so my roommate got the complete collection of Planet Earth and it is sooo crazy.
He got the BBC version with the good narrator. Anyone else love this amazing show!

I've heard of it, and all of my friends who watch the discovery channel watch it, but my TV is hardly on anymore so I can never catch it when it does come on. xD

It's not like any other show especially a typical nature show.
I mean we literally have 15 or more people watching the dvd's at a time. These are college kids! Not too mention all the times people have borrowed them.
Check the tv listings for the next time it comes on and check it out, you won't be sorry. Or go to like blockbuster and rent em, hell you could netflix them also. But try and get the BBC version with the British voice. The one narrated by the American doesn't sound as good.

Is that the show my friend always tells me about? the one where it shows the most amazingly beautiful places on the earth and stuffs? I don't have whatever channel it's on. <.< So I can see it when she buys the DVDs

Sort of. Like it talks about different animals and has amazing details in film. They also have lots of time lapse shots of plants growing or things changing. It's just incredible some of the shots they have, like Gorgeous shots. you can't just watch it on youtube either, you have to watch it on a nice screen in detail for the full effect!

Are you saying in theory that in the next 10 years we will discover a habitable planet similar to Earth. Or are you saying that we have already found another habitable planet similar to Earth and could send probes the investigate it within the next 10 years. Am confused question

Because they couldn't make a claim that there will be a discovery in the the next 10 years of something. Which means they already have an idea of a particular planet being habitable and they need the 10 years to run tests on the planet to confirm it, OR they have no idea and they are talking out of their a** and won't find a planet for another 100 years.
