Crie' room was just like any other, it was small, simple, with a desk and a bed. But it was dark, and that's all that mattered. In the last few months in which Crie gained his powers, he had found it increasingly harder to move through day. His mind had felt weak, his body frail. As in during the night, he felt the strength, the power. And so he had an equally dark room, the windows boarded up as he had requested. If you walked in, you would find the desk neatly organized; two guns, some brass knuckles and a wallet sitting on it in order. This was Crie's room.

With the days that had come after her meeting with the good Doctor, it had become increasingly difficult for Raptor to keep tabs on the new refugees now joining her cause. With the few new recruits that had arrived just recently, she could assume that Applewhite's hero hunts were increasing by the day. For all the trouble it was causing, she held a small, somewhat malicious pleasure in the possibility that she had something to do with his new attitude towards her cause. Having been informed of their activity this morning by STU, she decided to give her official greeting. It wasn't really a freindly welcome so much as a way of categorizing people; getting a sense of what she had to deal with on the inside and how it was sure to affect their work on the outside. She stood before the appropriate door, Crei was the gentleman's name, and knocked three times.

Crie opened the door right after the third knock and instantly he had himself looking down at a woman, his dark eyes taking her in. "Yeah?" He asked, not exactly sure who she was. Maybe she was supposed to inform him of how things went around here, for he really had no idea at all. So, with a simple shrug he just walked back into the room. "Come in." He walked over to the table, back to what he was doing as he pulled the two guns out from under his arms and sat them on the table. "I guess you're supposed to sort of see where I belong, right? That's what they say at least." He looked over at her over his shoulder, his dark gray eyes looking her up and down as if he was considering something someone had just said about her. Then he looked back and continued to just take the stuff out of his pockets and lay them on the table.

((Theres actually no eyes or ears in the bedrooms (I mentioned that in one of the boards/probably should have put it in the place description on the main forum). Lets just assume he was gesturing into the hall.))
She looked over her shoulder at the camera now looking away as though embarassed. "'They', as you put it," she explained as she entered at his request, "is STU, our computer. There's only one of him, mind you, and beleive me he's all you'll be able to handle at the end of three weeks." Taking a look around before fully taking in the man before her, she could gather one incredible advantage that came with this new recruit. Not only was he willing to fight, but he had no knowledge of what this place really was. Sure, he might have had some vague image of rogue heroes ready and preparing for a last, despirate stand, but as the newer recruits were coming to understand, there was much more to it. He wasn't really sure why he was there or what they were doing, so he was probably willing to take orders should she demand it. Compitence like that was hard to come by these days. "If you came here by your own choice, then you're exactly where you're supposed to be," she began, "STU has already given me all of the information I need to know about you, so allow me to tell you something of myself. Civilians know me as Raptor, which is the name you'll probably be calling me by from now on. My real name's Suzana, and I'm in charge here. You can think of this as being something like the old heroes guild. Only we have more to our cause than a few simple swoop in and rescues. It won't be all out war for a while, but we're still making our best efforts to break down the core of the New World Order and allow the world to rebuild the way it was meant to after the war." "You will be assigned a team, or at the very least a partner. Whenever that happens, you will want to know your teamates as well as yoou can, because you'll be expected to work, train and perform other tasks together. Any questions so far?"

He laughed slightly when she was done talking, just shaking his head and looking at the camera outside that she'd gestured to. "Actually, that's not what I meant. As in 'they' I meant them. Those. The Ones...the dead. That's what I do, I can see the dead. Right here, in this very room. Outside in that hallway. Its hard not to see them, at least the ones that choose to show themselves. But that's not all..." He turned around and with that he was suddenly gone. Just like that, he was gone, and before she knew it he was standing behind her, on the other side of the bed as he put a small notebook in the bedside table. "I can walk through this side of the world, and the...otherside but..." He turned and looked at her with a smile. "...I'm sure you already knew that." He walked back around the bed and didn't stop until he was just a little bit away from her. "So, when do I get this team...Suzanna?"
[Yeah, he's a bit creepy as you can tell, but the only reason that's so is because of how lightly he speaks about the dead. Kind of...yeah...]

She flashed a feirce glare his way, her prehistoric eyes distasteful towards his attitude. She re-evaluated him a little. He was sure to listen to orders, but he was likely to stray from a plan for his own weaknesses. She would have to take a great deal of consideration in picking who he should work with. "Again, you'll be calling me Raptor," she told him, calm and cool as she often was, "and I'll see to your assignment soon enough. For the time being you can take advantage of the training area on the second floor- oh, floors are numbered from the surface. We're on floor one. Just ask STU if you can't find the kitchen or any other facilities. Anything else before I go?"

"No...I think that's it." And with that he walked to the door, not bothering to see if she was going to leave with him or not. "Oh, and close the door on your way out Suzanna." He walked out of the room and just left her there. He didn't bother thinking about if he'd been rude or not. It didn't matter, he wasn't here to care for what she thought, he came because of the trouble that was going on. But, he would take in what she said about the training grounds. He wasn't stupid, he knew what the other side could do. He knew that there were people out there who could do things that were incredible, even stronger then him. That just meant he had to be smart, and following absolute orders wasn't smart. He'd make a decision ont he scene, that was the way he worked, its what had once had him be the great cop he'd once been. At least he was sure he was a cop, he couldn't remember most of the things from before the change. Before he died.
[I'm going to the training grounds, so if you want to continue roleplaying.]
