Hi im DXnobody, just a friendly nobody. I love Maths its great especially 3D trig as thats the way my trig mind runs.
Im still at school, in year 12 doing HSC, so getting in lotsa practice. I joined to see whats happening in the maths world.

I'm Loki, and I'm just averagely mathematically gifted I guess. I just like it a lot, which is why I'm here. I don't know why I like it. I just like solving problems, and it's kind of therapeutic to just sit down with a bunch of problems and begin working out the solutions. It is rarely useful in my life, and doesn't mean anything, but it's just fun.
I've taken all the way up to Calculus III, meaning I've done the entire calculus series and everything below that. I think I've had it with taking math classes though. I still have to do a bunch of simple math in my chemistry courses and that keeps me happy enough. xP I worked as a Calculus I tutor last semester, and though it was a good experience, I decided teaching probably wasn't for me. I can offer little things I remember, but I'm no expert, and by now I've forgotten about 70% of the Calc classes I've taken, and I'm absolutely horrible with trigonometry, and for some reason I didn't score too well in Algebra II. Me and a friend were suspended for "hacking" into the school system and changing our grades for Pre-Calculus, but no actual hacking was involved. Teachers just leave their grades in an Excel file on their Desktop. xP After that, our teacher pretty much made it so we would fail her class no matter what, so I didn't get very good grades in that class either. Needless to say, in addition to that incident, I've had a LOT of adventures in math, and lots of good memories (breakdancing in the back of a Ford Expedition during a study session, ah, good times) and a few, not bad ones, but ones that make me wince when I think back on them.
I'm a sophomore in community college and I'm about to transfer to University and move away from my parents so that makes me excited. x3 Well, nice meeting all of you. =3

hi, i'm aaron, i'm current a sophmore math major at a really good school. I've been tutoring for about a year now mostly doing math but i'm also good at tutoring physics and chemistry. I've completed math through differential equations and am currenently doing probability and statistics so i can tutor basically any math class not specific to math majors. I'm good at a fairly wide number of math/science subjects so feel free to ask me if i can tutor any subject.

I'm an Animations student and somehow excels in Algebra and Geometry in our school... I get A and A+ grades in the subject when I was in HS, but now it seems fair that I just get a B+ equivalent to 94%
Hehe,,,
My Strong Points: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics
My Weak Points: Basic Arithmetic ( It's very easy that I sometimes get confused in it, simple carelessness ) , Statistics

Hey everyone! biggrin
I'm Spy and I'm glad to be here right now, to be the 11th person to introduce themself here in this guild. smile
Well, let's just say I'm in 9th grade and I have a pretty good foundation in the world of Mathematics.
Like Reijin above me, my strong points in Math are Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry. Also, I'm pretty good at Graphs too, most of the time. Also, I'm thinking of choosing Math A-Level and other A-levels before going to America (hopefully!) to study, with a whole years credit mrgreen smile .
You all seem like very imteresting, cool people. Once again, glad to be here biggrin !
