Have you ever asked the Gods for a sign and then received one?
For example: In December I was home on break and my parents and I went out to dinner. On the way back I was staring at the thermometer in my dad's rear view mirror while trying to decide if I should do a ritual that night or wait for the next full moon. So, I asked for a sign if I should do it that night. The thermometer showed an instant increase of three degrees in the temperature. I took that as the sign I wanted, said my thanks, and then the temperature immediately went down again.
Please feel free to share any similar experiences or your opinions on the subject!

To the best of my memory, failing as it is after only my 20 years of existence, I can't say I have.
Only starting to look into the magickal the best I've gotten as of yet are signaled confirmations of my travel down my path.

I've never had one--but I've never really asked for one, either. I've always just knew what to do. And if I didn't, I asked my Farie.

I thought the same thing too, but I've spent hours watching that thing while traveling and it's never done anything like that since. I know it seems like a stretch, but it felt so real.

Often, but there are a few times where it was more dramatic or serious than others and I think it was that which really made me deside to be dedicated to my path. The Lord and Lady have blessed me many a times and been there when I truly needed it but let me independant as well. In all honesty when I was yougner there were times when I thought they weren't there. I realized as I matured though, that they were always there for me, they just knew that I could pull through a lot on my own too. Personally I find the best and most exciting times to recieve some little sign or message is out of the clear blue. Good question and topic!

I don't recall ever asking and receiving a sign in my life (Though my memory is not so great) I only ever recall receiving signs when a change was needing to be made spiritually or otherwise. And as always, I'm slow to understand on a conscious level what said signs were for until after accomplishing the task needing to be done on a subconscious level.

This has happened to me quite often, but I HAVE to receive a feeling...I don't know how to explain it properly. I have to have the feeling in order to discern whether or not an exterior event is merely a coincidence or intervention.

I have had several experiances when casting runes with a specific question. It is amazing how often it happens.

I'm not sure how many, if any I've had. I'm not a very observant person, so I often ignore what's going on until afterwards. I do recall one recently though, and afterwards I really beat myself up over it.
It happened after the last time I talked to my dad. Later that day I was just feeling really off, and the next morning I got physically ill for no apparent reason (as in my stomach rejected it's contents). I thought nothing of it though, and went about my work for the day (I'm an OTR truck driver). It ended up that there was construction on one of the interstates I was supposed to travel, and they shuffled everyone off, onto some city street bypass. As I was sitting in traffic I remember being passed by a funeral procession, and when I saw the hearse I distinctly remember staring at it for a while, with a knot in my stomach. But again, I just wrote it off as a 'natural human reaction'. That afternoon I got a call, several in fact, ultimately outlining my dad's death.... stare sad
The only thing worse than losing a loved one is not being there when/before they go. Because of my job, I didn't even get there in time to help with the funeral arrangements.

I did see a sign somewhat, but it was when I was really little. My mom had walked down to the bus stop to pick me up after school when a hawk was staring at us, just staring. Suddenly this snake came and jumped towards us and the hawk swooped down and caught the snake with its mouth. I don't know if it was an actual sign or anything but I think it was the goddess Freya watching after us.
I have another one. A great friend of my families, Ragnar, passed away a few years back. Not too long after that I was going through a hard time and I don't know why but I asked the gods if I could see him again, just for a second, and I did. I was walking down to the gate to unlock it for a friend and I saw a figure in the grass. It was him. He dissapeared as soon as I saw him though.
Has that sort of thing ever happened to any of you guys?
