A Musou Orochi sequel, for real!
And it is for the PS2! Thank you so much, Koei! *sobs in relief*

Musou Orochi: Maou Sairin

With the addition of long missed DW characters, Fu Xi and Nu Wa.
And also with the SW2: XL characters! XD
What more, spanking brand new characters have been introduced for this game, such as Taira no Kiyomori, Taigong Wang, Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Sun Wukong.

New modes introduced, which among them are the;

Versus Mode

Survival Mode

Dramatic Mode

And new stages added!

Japanese release date announced to be on April 3rd as of now.
There is no news of the NA/US version yet, but of course.

I'm looking forward to using the SW2: XL Sasaki. I LOVED his moveset. Excellent for crowd clearing, crazy range and speed, his weapon. xD

I loved watching the gameplay videos of this game, particularly the Vs mode, that looks so awesome and will be a great addition to the game.

And like Doku this is making me think about skipping SW2XL and just wait for this instead, I'm glad the SW2XL characters are finally in the Warriors Orochi branch. smile

Yep! VS Mode is one mode I look forward to. It would now be a much fun game for two people to play, as compared to just getting a friend to help you with stages in the past. The horse racing also looks quite interesting to try out. And the fact that one of the vs games has the ring out feature. xD

I don't blame Doku. It's just my luck I live in a country of pira- I mean, I am able to get the games cheaper here where I am, so I can afford both games, but if I were to be asked for which game I am looking forward to more, I would say Maou Sairin.

SW2: XL characters added, as well as NEW characters, and a whole new story, it certainly sounds very promising.
