I'd like to take a moment to let everyone know about a few fun things we have going on in the Contests forum.
Knitting_Needle_Ninja has started The Peace Project. It's a quick easy thing you can do to help raise money for a world peace supporting organization so definitely check that out.
I have decided to do a Square-a-Month blanket for next Christmas and if any of you are interested I'd love to have some company on that.
And we've announced our first ever prize giving contest today! The (Anti)Valentine Contest will have one grand prize and two secondary prizes. It's a mixed media event so you can knit, crochet, sew, sculpt... anything you want. We've never done anything like this before so everyone please go check that out and get involved.
Lastly, I'm calling on everyone in the guild - we need your help! We're opening the voting for The (Anti)Valentine Contest up to everyone in the guild whether you participate in the contest or not so please help us out by voting for your favorite project. See the contest thread for more details.
Also, we've got a ton of members who haven't posted yet and we'd like to say welcome to the guild and thanks for joining! Please feel free to jump into the conversation or join in a contest or craft-along. We'd love to get to know you!

I can't wait to see what everyone has made for the Valentines contest!!!! (they wanted it all lollipops and rainbows, but I'm cynical and wanted it to be ANTI Valentines. . .) SO! COMPROMISE! now EVERYONE is happy because you can make ANYTHING that reflects YOUR FEELINGS about the holiday! biggrin heart Don't forget to check out the contest sub-forum and sign up!

Well thus far we only have three contestants! reishijade, AmigurumiJain and Gossamer Bramble - guess the only competition is to see who gets first prize!! UNLESS!!! There is someone quietly watching in the sidelines who will jump outta nowhere with a project before the big day!
(ah hahaha, I'm too lazy to think of something new to say so I just copied and pasted this from my post in the conest thread rofl )

I might have to check out the anti-valentines contest...seeing as Valentines is one of my least favorite holidays. It's only topped by St. Patty's.
