Offensive signature move Jet catch (he jumps way into the air catching the ball and then landing on his blocker using his momentum to take another massive leap for at least 20 yards though this uses much of his energy so he cannot run that fast afterwards. Defensive signature move Blinding throw ( he flashes a bright light into his oppenets eyes and intercepts or knocks away and runs.)

2.nickname: Airi-neechan as well as several shorter variations (only Tsukiko calls her this); Ice Queen (due to the fact that she has refused every single romantic offer up to date) and like hell she's gonna let Nick call her "miss"... ; Dragon Lady (a recently used joke, which could be surprisingly accurate)

6.hobbies: drawing, writing, football (usually playing with "Aniki"), swordfighting, herblore, cooking, video games, surfing the Web
7.background: Has been an orphan since she can remember, but doesn't really care about it. Her only relation is someone she calls "Aniki", but rarely talks about him unless asked. All she tells about him without asking is that she used to practice football with him, and that he was a quarterback. It is due to her practicing with him that she has aquired her skills.
Her past is revealed later when talking with Nick. She had lost her parents in a car crash when she was about four years old. She has forgotten everything before that crash. The car crash damaged her left arm, severing it from shoulder to middle finger straight down the middle. It took many months in the hospital and therapy for her to use her arm again. Afterwards, she was placed in an orphanage and put on antidepressants. She became addicted to the antidepressants and as a result, had a botched suicide attempt at the age of six. It was there that she met "Aniki", who was a doctor at the hospital at the time, and with his help, got off the antidepressants and was able to find a family and a new life.
After meeting with Desert, it is revealed that there is the possibilty of her past having to do with the Shaolin Temple, as she looks similar to one of its Ace Students. More on that soon to come. One of Kurome's friends, Orora, known as the Lady Dragon, could very well have a relation to Airi, because they are very similar-according to Kurome himself, although we'll hae to meet her to find out. It has been hinted that she is actually Airi's grandmother, and confirmed that she was her teacher.

She normally wears blue jeans along with a white t-shirt with green sleeves. An icy-blue jasmine brooch that matches the insignia on her gloves is always used to tie her hair back. It has been revealed that it doubles as an extra weapon, a shiruken of sorts. She also wears an icy blue eyeshield on the field because has vison problems and she doesn't think it is safe to wear her glasses on the field. She also has a samurai sword she often carries with her on her back, it has a blue handle with the same jasmine insignia on it. She also carries around a first aid kit, along with the standard equipment, it also carries many herbal remedies. She is skilled in both modern first aid and herbal remedies. She also has a laptop that she uses in cases of boredom or when she wants to look up something. It is white with the icy blue jasmine insignia. She currently has also temporarily aquired Nick's bazooka, although for how long she'll keep it is uncertian. She now wears weights on a vest, and a sheath on all four limbs. All of them have the capability to hold 200 lbs on each, although she is only wearing 20 lbs each at the time, making for 100 lbs of extra weight. She wears white fingerless gloves on her arms that extend to her elbows, hiding the sheaths on her arms. The gloves have the jasmine insignia as well as an ornate silver thread pattern.

19.techniques/strategies: Because of her slender build, she has wiry muscles that are better for speed rather than strength. Because of this, she is very agile, and prefers to outrun or outmanuver her pusuers instead of overpowering them.
Northwind Gale: This makes use of her agility, and is used when she is about to get tackled. She turns on the spot and seems to vanish, when really she has just changed direction while increasing her speed. It is called this because when she turns, the wind created from her sudden motion strikes the opposing person, making them feel a chill as if a cold wind from the north has struck them.
Icy Wind Slash: This move was derived from her sword skills, as well as her knowledge of vital points. She uses the hand not protecting the ball and swipes it in a brief cutting motion, much like a samurai does with his sword. This helps her knock off an enemy if there is no other option, but because the ball has one less arm protecting it, it leaves room for a forced fumble. Because of this, she does her best to make the strike swift and effective, often aiming for a vital point that will stun the opponent for a brief instant. The opponent feels a cold, numbing sensation in the area for that moment, thus the name for the technique.
Icicle Needle: Due to her lack of physical strength, Airi made this technique when she needed to overcome that barrier when tackling somebody. It's based off of her medical knowledge. She uses her middle and pointer fingers like an acupuncture needle and pierces a vital point in the opponent's stomach. It makes the person cringe for a brief moment as they feel an icy sensation in their stomach, when that person cringes, it can give her an opportunity to overcome any superior strength the opponent will have. It won't always work, however, due to the fact that she must hit the vital point straight on, and if the person has too much muscle, then it won't have much of an effect.
Frostbite Grasp: This is something that she is still working on. The concept revolves around the intensity of frostbite, once it latches onto the body, it will not loose its grip on it and whatever it has touched succumbs to it. She is trying to develop the same procedure for when she catches the ball, by increasing the dexterity of her hands. It is apparent that she is able to grasp the ball by stopping its rotation by increasing the force that she puts on it with her hands substantially. This causes a lot of sweat to gather on the ball due to the stress, and make it appear that a fine, icy mist is coming off of the ball when the sweat evaporates. When the ball stops, the increased pressure stays, making Airi's hands leave an impression similar to claw marks, which Tsukiko claims looks like a dragon's. This move stresses her hands out quite a bit and puts her catching abilities out of use for roughly five minutes, so it is used as a desperation tactic.
Weight Removal: Not a technique, per se, but more of an energy boost. She removes the extra 100 pounds of weight that she carries around on the weight bands; letting her true potential out.
Dragon Traits: This is a rather mysterious ability for Airi. She doesn't know much about it; and actually doesn't notice it, because the traits activate on instinct and have a profound effect on the surrounding people. She has highly tuned senses all the time, but they become more noticable when the traits activate. Ice related phenomenons happen around her when it is activated; the most common being a temperature drop; an illusion created by the intensity of her presence. It is possible that these traits could have come from her past-most likely the Xiaolin temple.
Tsurara (Meaning: Icicle): The sword spirit residing in Airi's sword-incidentally of the same name. Tsurara appears in a spirit form visible only to those who are able to see spirits clearly-like Tsukiko, for example. Tsurara has the appearance of a long winding dragon, similar to those in Chinese mythology, with icy blue scales and a white underbelly, and icicles for claws, horns, and tail spoks, with a wingspan of twice Airi's armspan (so roughly 10'4"). Tsurara generally shares Airi's feelings and sentiments, but expresses them slightly differently-usually in a ruder fashion than Airi normally does-which may imply that Airi gets her unpredictable and explosive temper from Tsurara. Tsurara also shares Airi's elemental affinities-ice and wind-and is potentially the source of Airi's heightened senses (see "Dragon Traits"). Tsurara does not become particularly active until Airi arrives at the Xiaolin Temple. Tsurara also apparently has a deep resentment against Jishin, Desert's spear spirit. Airi is not aware of Tsurara, but is able to use her abilities out of pure instinct, controlling Tsurara like a third limb. Without using Tsurara, Airi's Dragon Trait ablilities are limited to purely illusions that appear to warp the reality around it, but with Tsurara, they become real. For example, on her own, Airi's icy glare only gives the impression that the surrounding temperature has dropped. With Tsurara, the temperature has actually dropped, and a small breeze picks up to add wind chill. Tsurara has also shown to have the ability to freeze object that come in contact with the sword. Tsurara is one of three spirits that are able to unsettle Hatohori's spiritual aura, the other two being Desert's Jishin and Jiko's Denki-the three together are known as the Orichalcum Triad, as they are the three spirits that reside within an Orichalcum Weapon. More abilities have yet to be revealed.

Tsurara's Revealed Ablities
Temperature Drop: The temperature around Airi drops, usually attributed to an icy glare coming from Airi. It is a combination of a temperature drop and a wind chill factor.
Frostbite on Contact: Objects coming in contact with the sword end up freezing solid. On living flesh, it causes frostbite.
IceFyre: An ice blue flame. The temperature of it is near absolute zero (273 degrees Celsius), causing a white-hot burning sensation when it touches, as well as severe burns/bruises/frostbite patches. Think of freezer burn.
