-In the remains of a small, dried up suburb, resides a small, but relatively flourishing community of independant civilians. The houses are remotely well sized, and are mostly inhabited by more than one family. They are structuraly sound, though it looks as though most of the windows and doors had been smashed in by some instantanious force. Survivors chose to settle here because the city pipes and sewer system still functioned; tapping into a water source that was not only essential to their survival, but plentiful in and of itself. While its still difficult to grow food here, their numbers are small, and the soil becomes more and more firtile with each new season.
Peace, however, is just beyond their means. A rogue group of scavangers, civilians who've taken to a 'survival of the fittest' lifestyle, has ripped through their own rations and is now terrorizing the small community. It seems these roughians have had the fortune of scavanging some decent motorcycles, giving them a great advantage over the defenseless. Only a few of them have guns and they don't have much ammo, but each of them is sure to have a blunt weapon of some form, so keep an eye out.-

NPC: Since the villains in this story won't be player characters, it will not count towards advancing your rank or 'level'. However, it's always a good idea to jump in on an NPC mission to help other characters introduce themselves into the story, advance your character's story, or develop better character relationships.
Players that choose to accept this mission will also be obligated to play the part of the enemy. While this may be frustrating, it will certainly give you the advantage of verbally illustrating some fluid, kick a** fight scenes.
If only one, or no players accept a mission after 1 week, then it will be assigned to a Team.

Heroes: Your obvious mission is to stop the scavangers from terrorizing the other survivors, for they have officially become criminals in your book.
Don't get too cocky when the jobs been done, though. Remember that you turned your back and left the civilians of the world to their own devices right when they needed you before the war. There won't be any celebration for this victory.

NOTE: Keep in mind that most people in the world have a distaste or even deep seeded hatred for their former heroes. If you were a superhero back in the day, people will recognise you, and they won't appreciate your presance.

" I wonder if you'll ever stop talking to yourselves. See a bad habit of that." Came the voice of Terry, newly recovered with his equipment hanging about his person. He walked past Merrick with his rifle over his shoulder as he took a look around. " So whats the deal? The way I heard it, It's gone all 'Mad Max' out here."

"Kids fighting over cash...Yeah thats real out there." He huffed. " Did you try asking anybody what going on? Like what direction they come from, how many there are. A little tactical wouldn't kill ya, Hero." He said with a hint of distain.

Merrick rolled his eyes, and he looked around sighing some. "LIke anybody would talk to me... we're despised around here remember." He saw a few people walk outside making sure to avoid them.

Mike cocked a eyebrow at the man. He then looked at the other man holding out a hand "The names Mike." He said, not sure if the man had heard of him or not. He awaited for the man to shake his hand, a million thoughts runing though his head for some reson.

Mike grabed the mans hand and shaked it. He nodded some "Nice ta meet chya." He said releasing the other mans hand. He looked at the deserted place, at least it seemed that way, everyone was probly just in hideing. He sniffed the air, noticeing it was stale. He just sat there, waiting for the other man to return.
