Yes, we didn't have one yet, so here it is: A place to put down whatever kind of music you like, what you're listening to know, what you normally listen to, rant about music and pretty much anything else. More threads will be added if demand dictates. Anyhow, I'll start and the first band I will mention or many is Sonata Arctica.

Haha, I just realized I mentioned Sonata Arctica but that was all sweat:... ok, they are this really good Finnish Power Metal band that started in the mid-90's. They are really really good, and have done many covers of other bands material as well. These include: Die With Your Boots On by Iron Maiden, I Want Out by Helloween, World In My Eyes by Depeche Mode, Fade To Black by Metallica, and several other great ones. Although I said they started in the mid-90's, this is somewhat false, the band members got together at that point, but the band was then called Tricky Beans, they named it Sonata Arctica is '99. Anyhow, I would seriously check them out, they are awesome. Right now I'm listening to Don't Say A Word - Sonata Arctica

Rock, Metal (of all shapes, sizes, and colors/non colors), J-anything
I can listen to some rap, but it has to be really good.
I absolutely cannot listen to R&B ( the symphony of a thousand nails tickling a chalkboard sounds better)
of course this is all in my opinion.

It's not so much that I like to talk, it's more I like to get others to talk. Ok, well to give you a broader view of what I listen to, it would be everything with the following exceptions: R&B, Rap, most Pop, a good bit of Country, and *shudders* Techno. If you like Techno, I respect that, but honestly, it's not for me. I think I'd rather listen to the dying screams of my parents and a busload of kids then an hour of Techno. Well... maybe not that extreme but you get the idea.

Ahm...I like nearly any kind of music. Though I prefer rock and metal, and maybe even a little dance music. I guess it depends on the mood I'm in. J-rock always seems to be the order of the day, though.... xp
