-Both a means of comeing and going for larger entities, The agarage houses the vehicles used by the residence of the stronghold..that is..if they had any. The dust is thick and settled in the corners of this mostly dissused part of the base as there has been no vehcile traffic throguh this area since Raptor's jeep broke down. There are several places where vehicles of various sizes and purpose would go for repair, but they are mostly fallen into disrepair themselves.-

"Contemtable, Thoughtless....argh!" Groaned Dr. Jukebox as he made his way throow the garage entrance as it was his only means of bringing his slavaged ship parts into the stronhold. He was perterbed by the event that led to Darcetti's supposed death. On some level he was in mourning, but he only showed anger. The mystery shooter was hitching a ride on the floating cargo that hung behind Dr. J, nursing his leg. The inquisitve FAuast hovered near him, observing the red stain in the shooter's pantleg before leveling it's glowing blue eye with the man's face, eventually propmting the shooter to nudge him it away. The cargosuddenly came ot a hault, fallign to the ground as the mystery man seethed from the pain in his leg.

"That sounded painful," came STU's voice, remarkable echoed by the wide space of the garage, "Aren't you supposed to be a medical doctor, Dr. Jute?" He was referring, of course, to the unpleasant noises eminating from the, as of yet, unregistered lifeform that had joined Jute upon his peculiar arival. "The captain will be with you shortly. Did you need require any assistance?"

Jute was suddenly taken away from his introvert babbling by STU's reminder that he had brought a guest with him. He turned to see the man, just beginning to stand, favorign one leg. "Sit back down, I'll see you to the medical in a moment." The man's brow was observable as it fell behind the beleclava. "I think I've had enough of your assistance for right now friend." Jute gave a sigh. "My apology, but please allow me to escort you to the ward. It is my recommendation as a doctor." "Huh" The man responded as he sat back down. "Fine,...Doc." Jute nodded and turned to the nearest camera. " If the captain would be so kind as to bring a stretcher, then that would be all the assistance I need. Faust!!!" Jute shot his head around, hearing a clanking of metal, to see the curious cotraption emptying out one of the tool shelves. Apon being caught by it's owner, it dropped a wrench to punctuate the array of clangs it was making.

Within a few mintes, Raptor made her way to the garage pushing a hospital grade strecher and clamping her lips around a long, smoking cylander. "Lemme guess," she said in something of an obnoxious voice as she entered through the main door, "he disobeyed my orders, got cornered and-" ..... In spite of her warnings before, she had still expected the 'lifeform' to be that of Darcetti. It was, after all, sometimes difficult to tell when STU was being sarcastic. "He's not coming back..." She stopped to pich the cigarette with her thumb and forfinger and remove it to release an unreadable sigh. She knew he wasn't going to come back, but she had hoped-

Jute gave a solomn shake of his head. " He attempted to confront the masked antagonist. The fight fell out of his favor and it ended with a desperation move that leaves me to beleave that they are both dead. I can't really explain it other then that Darcetti pulled the both of them into some sort of fizzure in the ground that closed shortly after. As for this fellow here." He jestured his head for the unidentifed man sitting on one of the retreived machine who was sitting silently out of earshot, siging away. " I have not spoken to him, so I am unaware of his name, or his reasons. He does seem heavily armed however."

The man's back was turned to her, and her thoughts still lingered on the foolhearty Darcetty. The greif was beginning to set in, for both Dar and Viper, the young man whom had spilled his heart to her just moments before in the debreifing room. This was not the time, however. "I'm sorry to see him go," she said in an even tone, "but he marked his own grave by his choice of action." She took a long drag before tossing the rest of her cigarette to the floor and snuffing it out with a firm boot and coughing into her fist. "Alright then," she somewhat grunted. "You!" she called out to the injured man, "What were you doing in the Ghost City? You don't look mutated from here."

The man turned on his seat to adress the voice that called to him. There was a short bit of hesitation as the man took his assesment of his situation, as well as his recollection of who he was looking at. In his mind, he was cursing, but outside he sighed as he brought the strape to his sniper rifle over his head and posted it up in fornt of him. "There ain't a day I'm not supprise about that miss. " He joked. " I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd take the oppertunnity to get aquanted with someone." He scratched at the collor of his coat and lifted the beleclava off his face revealing a wild head of hair and the beginnings of a beard. "Course, that went south pretty quick."

She recognised the voice before his face, but she couldn't quite put the two together as quickly as she would have liked to. "Something definately went south pretty quick," she mumbled to herself as she reached for yet another cigarette. Back in the day, she and her mentor had kept to the eastern coast, mostly New York. This was due to her mentor's alter ego as a social worker. "...Where do I know you from?" she asked.

Jute looked between the two of them, a bit perplexed by the odds of two people meeting this way. The unmasked shooter looked at her, but avoided her eyes. "I don't think we actually met, mis. I've been here and there, likly you saw me during...." He let out a slight laugh. "Well, I don't know what name you came up with for the day the world ended." He said, trying to draw away from the subject of identity.

"I see." There was something suspicious about the way he was acting. "Thats a pretty sorry looking leg," she gestured as she folded her arms over her chest and took a step back to get a better look at him. The look he had and the way he carried himself...now that she thought about it, she was certain she wouldn't have recognised him. He implied it well enough, he had been in the millitary, so he would have been clean shaved and before. Still, she felt like they must have spoken or met specifically. Still, he was avoiding her eyes like he was shy or something. Did he know what her eyes looked like and simply didn't want to see them? "Well," she said, "You're not a mutant and you're not one of us, so who might you be?"

"Terry. Corpral if you want." he finally repleid without any flurish. He stood up again, mostly to respond to the comment about his leg. He let her words roll around in his head for awhile. Not one of us. It kicked somehting up in the back of his mind that put him in a sour mood. He gestrued his head for the stretcher, wanting to end this dialog as quick as possible. "That for me?"

In spite of their mistakes, heroes were meant to serve the citizens. Still, this man, Terry, was a bit bothersome to their situation. "Yeah," she nodded, "Dr. J, if you would help this man to the infirmary." She didn't want to talk to him anymore. Something about him made her very uncomfortable.

Terry hoisted hismelf onto the stretcher and layeed back as if it were a motel bed. "You heard her dock. Let's roll." he said in a snarky fashion as he made a tackle handsign towards the nearest door. "Dr. Jukebox gave a shrugg. " Very well. Will you please be sure that Faust doens't cause too much trouble. I am reluctent to bring it into the base proper till I've had the chance to calm it down. It's likly been ecited by all this activity latly." He said, drawing her attention to the floating metal mass of tenticles having a staring contest with the security camera. Jute wheeled Terry away towards the infirmary with a sigh.

"Faust, huh?" She looked on as the strange machine faced off with the camera. Faust didn't sound like an alien name. ....... ............ ................. "What are you looking at? (short short short)
