Alright, so apparently I'm not making my rules clear enough, or people are choosing to not read them. Therefore, I'll spell them out here, plain and simple.
Rules:
Number the First: Do NOT delete your posts! If you do so, I will give you one warning. I am going to be keeping better track of this now, and if this happens twice ((The first time you will be banned for a week and put on the black list permanently, the second time...I'll know)), the consequences will be dire. I apologize for anyone new coming in at a time when my temper with this rule is nearly out, but this will be the same for ALL members of Iwagakure, regardless if you are a moderator, crew member, or your character happens to be dating one of mine.
Number the Second: DO NOT create new threads without first asking my permission. There is a method to my madness in Iwa, and if we have a bunch of piddly threads lying around that don't have much consequence, it will get even more cluttered than it already is. Don't do it, or I will get very ticked off, and consequences will ensue.
Number the Third: If a post says IMPORTANT: READ ____ POST! in it, read the bloody thing! There's a reason I, or one of my esteemed collegues, put it there. We want you to read it. As I said, there's a method to our madness.
Reasons:
Number the First: I have no way of knowing if you deleted a post because of a bad roll. Even the best of us do this (although I'd kick myself out if I did it anymore), so to prevent this, no deleting posts.
Number the Second: As I stated before, I don't want Iwa to become cluttered again. This is a small subforum, and if we have a bunch of one-paged threads everywhere, it won't be nearly as active.
Number the Third: If we have something important that needs to get out to all the villagers, we can't send three dozen PMs. It's much easier to have others read it in a thread, where we can get responses and (hopefully) won't have to repeat ourselves multiple times to get it through.
What You Can Do:
Number the First: Edit your posts, delete what you had written, and then in OOC (( )), {{ }} or [[ ]], write 'Ignore this post'.
Number the Second: If you insist that your idea for a thread is one that needs to be shared, send me a PM asking me to create it. I'll play twenty questions with you, but if I think it's a worthwhile idea (like the OOC thread and the hospital were), I'll let YOU create it.
Number the Third: Read. The. Post.
----------------
I could care less if you spam in the other posts (as long as it's OOC), argue or debate, or never interact with other people. I'm fine with that. Just please, follow these rules, or you'll quickly find out that I'll get mad easily, and then where will we be?
Now, since I know you all are going to be good villagers and read this (sorry if this offends you, but I'm bloody ticked off right now), I can safely tell you THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR BE ADDED TO AT ANY MOMENT! If they change, the subject will let you know, so take two seconds outside of your role-playing day to glance at it.
Also, to my fellow crew of Night and Gig and Carlos, if you feel like adding a rule, by all means go right ahead. Just please make sure to let people know they are rules that pertain to yourself (Gig, I'll unlock the thread for you) by typing your name next to them or something. I'm sure I'm not the only one getting a bit angry about things....
