Spike flopped down in his old green chair with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. He wasn't too fond of the brand but it was all he could get his hands on. On a night like this he would normaly by at Willy's trying to pic of fight. But he just wasn't in the mood. He sighed as his T.V. started going on the fritz again and got up to adjust the wire he used as an atena.

Samantha leaned against the wall. She had a glare of her face as she watched Spike. The curse had taken over for the time being. She just wanted to go out and slaughter someone. But she wouldn't.....Not since she'd get her humanity back soon....That was the worst part. She had been stuck like this for 2 hours trying to stop herself from killing the first person in sight. She would have done it but she couldn't stand the way Spike was at the moment. She kept her mouth shut as she let her gaze drift to the T.V. she would return to her normal self soon enough only to realize she killed a man in the alleyway she had been walking through. Then she would feel guilt, remorse, and other human emotions. At this time those emotions made her sick.....

Spike glanced over at Sam before walking back over to his chair and flopping down in it with his leg hanging over the arm. "You can stop pouting over there." Spike said taking a large swig of his whiskey before sticking his tongue out in disgust at the taste. Of all the bad brands he could have gotten he got the worst. "Not like I can help my little handy cap." He sighed- raising an eyebrow- and put the whiskey bottle down on the floor next to the chair. "You know if I could go out with you I would. But as of now I can't do anything. Besides. You know you'll just get upset later." He raised a hand and motioned for her to come to him.

"I'm always upset if you haven't noticed. That or I'm falling head over heels to help my best little friends who only want me for me power....." She said and looked to the side. "Why drink it if it tastes horrible that's just an idiotic thing to do." She was always rude as could be when she was this way. She was either almost mute, or saying things she shouldn't. He was lucky she only had about um.....3 minutes left before she would change back. She was making herself look like a jerk just so she can get yelled at later. She looked at the clock on her wrist. "3 minutes......" She complained rolling her eyes. She was dreading the sound of human emotions at the moment.

Spike looked at her with a dull expression on his face. "I drink cause it dulls everything! You should try it some time.... course then again with your tongue I don't think that's a good idea." Spike rolled his eyes and turned back to the T.V. ignoring the fact that she had completely ignored his gesture.

She rolled her eyes. "Some women think you'd be charming. Others.....Well...They'd rather stake you. I've wanted to many times trust me." She looked at the clock. Oh man.....Here it came....She saw the clock strike the given time and her eyes widened. She fell to her knees and covered her mouth. A light flash happened around her chest area as she covered her mouth. She was having trouble breathing like she usually had happen as the memories of what she had done went through her mind. Everything including her conversation with Spike. She gasped for air as she saw them finally stop. Looking around she felt so weak and horrible. That poor man....How could she do such a thing? Why would she do it? He just walked past her why would she ever do such a thing? She wished the curse was gone. She sat there on the floor thinking over her crimes. It hurt so much.....She looked at Spike then the floor. Did she really inside want to stake him? She didn't know if it was true or if before her humanity came back she was just trying to get it taken away again. She swallowed a bit and looked at the floor taking deep breaths. When memories hit you all at once it's pretty powerful....She felt a bit weak....But she just sat there taking deep breaths.

Spike didn't look at her he just continued watching T.V. As much as he hated to admit what she had said had hurt. "Are you finished?" He asked not looking away from the T.V. and taking another swig of the whiskey.

"Yeah.......Sorry Spike I didn't mean it.....I guess my little evil sides trying to make you get upset at me so I get upset then I once again lose my humanity......I didn't mean any of it." She said looking at him and getting up. She stumbled a bit but made it to her feet. "Want me to go out and get you something better to drink? You hate that brand of Whiskey don't you? I'd go out and get you something else if you wanted me to." She asked looking at him. She wouldn't ignore him or stare away. She wasn't going to act like she was lying or hiding something because she wasn't....well nothing she knew of.

"Why? So I can be in idiot?" Spike asked sarcasticly, before throwing the bottle across the room to shatter loudly on the wall. "Course then again that's what you want isn't it? Someone around so you can feel better about yourself?"

"Spike quit it." She said sighing. "That's not why I want you around, what's gotten into you? What are you wasted or did I say something?" She asked looking to see if he was sober. She would go home and go to sleep if he wasn't. She did feel a bit light headed. What was his problem anyways? She didn't mean it. She didn't want problems.....She really didn't want problems....But if she had to she'd go home for awhile and leave him to his complaining or what ever he's doing. She cracked her neck and stretched upward. She was a bit stiff.....What was she doing all this time.....She was hoping maybe after that long night maybe just maybe she could stay with Spike that night but by the looks of it she would be going home to Giles.

"What's gotten into me?" Spike asked standing up and striding towards her. "What's gotten into me is the fact that every time this happens." He paused waving his hands around indicating the situation. "I get bitched at and put down."

"Well I'm sorry ok? I have issues ok? I have problems and you know what I can't help what I do at those points but I can try and fix it when I get control of myself again so I'm sorry I'm bitching and giving you put downs but if you realize I have no control." She somehow...kept herself from flipping out and kept herself stable. Somehow.....She was able to keep from getting angry or upset. She sighed shutting her eyes....Samantha felt a bit dizzy but looked at Spike. "I'm sorry for what I say well the second half is taking place but you have to realize I have no control at all over what I do. None what so ever. If I did I would have stopped myself from saying a lot of things but I couldn't. I'm sorry Spike but I can't stop this."

Spike smirked and raised an eyebrow. "You can fix it huh?" It was more of a statement then a question as he leaned against the wall beside her. "Exactly how were you planning on trying to make me feel better?"

She took a deep breath. She couldn't just leave him like that.....She had to do something and well this was the only way out so far. Samantha had to do this or no only would he most likely be angry with her but he'd stop liking her. She thought for a moment. She had to ask....."How do you want me to make you feel better?" She asked and did what she saw most girls in movies do. She put her arms around his neck. Sometimes she wondered what the world would be like without sex.....more clean and less people getting HIV and AIDS.....In her mind....a better world.
