Arisa sat quietly against the wall in the observatory, it was so beautiful here at night and she found herself coming there more and more. She had her sketch book with her and her faithful HB pencil. Arisa looked up at the dancing stars and smiled warmily, joy filled her and for the moment she could forget the hard training, the stresses of school life and the headaches of Teenage life. Arisa spared time to continue her drawing before glancing back up at the stars again.
Arisa finished enought of her sketch for now and softly closed her book and turned her full attention to the ever yawning sky. She laid one the ground and placed her hands behind her head, leaning back and getting comfertable with the surroundings. She let her mind wander and daydream, thinking of her family and how they were. Daydreaming about her secret crush and what he was doing. The thought made her blush when she blured the lines between reality and what it would be like to be held by her crush. She dared even dream about what her life would be like if she was normal with no heavy burden of her Telekinesis and perhaps her clarvioence.

Silence reigned over the night on the rooftop, until the noise of a pencil hitting the ground clattered through the night. Following the path of the pencil to it's origin, a pale slender hand would be visible over the edge of the rooftop. Delicate and intricately tattooed, its compuser was such that it could easily belong to a woman.

But the wrist was just a fraction too thick, even if little more than skin and bone. Following the hand over the edge of the rooftop a young male slept, silver hair fell over an almost white face, framed in similar tattoos as on his hand.

His chest rose and fell with small, short breaths, almost as if he were ill. His eyes were closed with thick black eye lashes, and his over all form was soft and efeminate.

He wore a simple black pair of trousers, tucked into a worn out pair of leather boots. Across his chest he wore an open white shirt that let his chest be seen. He looked starved, and still the tattoos were present... but with so many, you began to notice how crude some of them were. Carved in with blunt knives, and the rest were just as cruel, just more tastefully done.

Still though, there was an unmistakable trace of muscle across his boney frame. Over all he looked malnourished, pale, and yet tough despite his femininity.

Curled up by his head an oddly shaped ball of fur, wrapped up tight into itself, the only visible signs of what it might be were the occasional scale, the pair of wings, and the open sketch book on the boy's lap.

Both creatures stirred simultaneously following the fall of the pencil, black lashes fluttering open slowly. The first impression after which was blue. An incredibly deep, unnatural, blue... and the next was blind. At the center of either lovely iris, was a milky white pupil that accepted no light.

Arisa sat up slowily upon hearing the clattering of something light on the ground. She snuck a peek around, seeing nothing at first her attention grew to the ground where the pencil rested. She walked over slightly and gingerily picked it up. She looked around again but saw nothing but his instincts told her to look up, when she did she saw a hand, a frail looking hand, she positioned herself to get a better look at who had dropped the art implament. She saw a... boy, sleeping peacefully among the open breeze. Arisa climbed higher with a little effort to get a better look at the young man just in case he was hurt. When she finally struggled up she sat down and carefully pulled herself further from the edge... it would definatly be hazardous to your health if you fell from this distance. Arisa's attention drew to the furry thing that preoccupied the bishounen. It looked like it was breathing softly. Arisa went to reach over to stroke the young man's forehead to check his temperature to make sure he wasn't sick. She halted abruptly when he sturred and startled slightly. What she saw was a beuatiful blue, thought the iris' mirrored her own slightly. Her's were more clearish, she woundered if he had some sort of clairvoyance as well.
"Hey... you shouldn't be out here like this." Arisa said softly. "You'll catch a cold if you stay out here like this."

The youth stirred awake instantly at the contact of Arisa's hand on his forehead, his entire body going rigid and stiff with an emotion akin to fear, blind blue eyes starring wide into the sky.

His hands jerked, but he resisted the temptation to strike out, as her hand had already been removed. She spoke to him, telling him of the danger of his position... he was quiet for a time, his mouth opening for an instantly only to close again. He wasn't sure what to say. His next thought was to his empty hand.

He hadn't been expecting to fall asleep, but the setting sun had been so warm... and now his pencil was missing. His 4B. He launched himself into a sitting position, looking around frantically.

The black mass of fur on the roof stirred, a muffled, plaintive meep issuing from it, body moving in a jerk. Its small head peeled out, a pair of violet, feline eyes blinking slowly. It made another calling sound before two clawed paws clicked on the roof as it unfurled itself. A small, black, fuzzy, dragon. It meeped again, and finally Kyaka reached over and scooped it up, depositing it on his shoulder before looking around again. He wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't see a thing, how was he supposed to find it?

Arisa looked at the reptilian looking creature with wonderous awe, she had never seen anything like it in her life and she wasn't quiet sure what to make of the situation.
Arisa looked at the bishounen, he seemed to be looking for something without any luck, she remembered the pencil that she had found that led to finding him. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the pencil.
"Um... is this your pencil?" Arisa asked softly again. "I found it under you on the belcony below."
Arisa's attention was placed back to the dragon on the bishounen's shoulder. She wanted to pet it, but the thought of it bitting her detered from the path.

Kyaka blinked, his head turning to Arisa, eyes staring awkwardly to the left. He wished that he could affirm yes or no. His hand extended to accept the pencil, he knew how it felt in his hand, and his were unique because there would be a notch on the side that would let him know what pencil it was depending on number and location.

The dragon playfully nipped at Kyaka's earlobe, bored and feeling forgotten it was a young thing with a gentle disposition. The attempt was met with an odd sort of hiss deep in Kyaka's throat. It meeped in curious response. He rolled his blind eyes before returning his attention to the foreign girl in front of him.

He's...blind?
Arisa placed the once discarded pencil in his hands softly. His hands were a little cold from being outside. Arisa looked up at the creature again, she started to reach out her hand to touch it but stopped and pulled it back again. It seemed alright but she wasn't really sure.
"Are you cold? Maybe we should go inside where it's a little warmer..."
Arisa turned her gaze back to the creature on his shoulder. She smiled softly at them.

Kyaka was silent. He was completely unsure of what to do, but he didn't really want to go inside. he wanted to stay outside so that he would watch the sun rise in the morning... or rather feel the warmth of the sun on his skin as it broke the horizon.

But Kyaka also hated the cold. He reached up into the air with the hand that wasn't preoccupied with the pencil. In instant particles were gathering together like ash, and he was pulling down an exceptionally warm, living blanket. Impossibly soft and only as warm as you wanted it to be, he tugged blindly on one color when it was finished, and another identical blanket came into existence, which he then offered to Arisa. It was only polite right?

He'd been learning the niceties of human interaction over the past few days, and he thought he was coming along quite well, even if he forgot to ask if she'd rather stay outside.

Avis made another attempt to play with Kyaka, which was met with another odd growl. Finally the small dragon sighed and turned its attention to Arisa with a sad, neglected meep.

Arisa looked at the blanket with some surprise, she took his offer after a little though, it was a beautiful night out and the the night was clear. She wrapped the blanket over her shoulders, looking at the bishounen she smiled, he seemed very shy, hadn't said two words to her yet but seemed to be very kind and friendly at the same time. She looked at the thing on his shoulders again, she felt sorry for it. It seemed to want attention and the boy wasn't giving it any.
She smiled warmily at Avis, she patted her lap and opened her arms slightly around it, inviting him to come over and get some attention.
".... your pet is really cute.... does he have a name... and how about yours?"
PostPosted: Sat Jan 26, 2008 4:02 pm

Avis leapt eagerly over to Arisa, teeth clicking playfully at her finger tips as he danced into her lap, wings only holding him in the air for the briefest of moments.

Kyaka didn't seem to care about Avis' leaving his shoulder. He loved the little thing as he loved all of his other creatures, but he was reluctant to show his emotions in front of any one. He still remembered the exclamations and countless studies that had been wrought on by his momentary smile while playing with one of his friends. Things like that were hard to forget.

She voiced a question, and it took Kyaka a long time to formulate a response. "Avis." He finally murmured, regarding the little fuzzy dragon, and with regards to him. "Kyaka." He wasn't a talkative person, more physical than anything, but he was a very good listener.

Still, Kyaka hated to be left without a companion to play with, even if there was another person watching. As he leaned back, throwing the blanket over himself, there was another materialization behind him, this time a large white wolf. Laying down with eyes closed it was a very beautiful creature that was also very intimidating. Just the same Kyaka leaned back and nestled his back and shoulder up against the large dog without a flicker of worry or fear, but rather contentment.

Arisa smiled warmily, he certainly was cute! Arisa looked up at Kyaka with a mixture of curiousity and contempt. He certainly was very shy. That made her smile all the more. Arisa played with Avis at the same time as she gave her attention to Kyaka. She loved animals, whenever she got the chance she ran her fingures through Avis' soft hair. The wolf put Arisa on edge, though when she saw Kyaka's relaxed state she losened up and smiled. She had never seen a wolf so close and her curiosity was starting to rise.
Arisa giggled at Avis. "Your so cute!"
She turned her attention to Kyaka again.
"You seem really good with animals, Kyaka-san." Arisa said, still in her soft, shy tones. "Sometimes I think that animals are the best company... they don't judge people and they're loyal to their friends and master. My name is Arisa by the way."

Kyaka yawned, thinking about Arisa's words. It really didn't take much to set Kyaka's mind to wandering. "They're sensible." He said in a quiet response. It might seem odd that this was more important to Kyaka than their loyaoties and lovable nature, but when you've had to deal with scientist who wanted to experiment on you simply because you were there, a clear sense of reason and set of morals was very refreshing.

The wolf lifted its head, which was at least twice the size of Kyaka's and reached around to lick his cheek, causing Kyaka to put a hand on the massive muzzle and, almost as if playing, gentle pushed it the other way. Rulan took this as fun, developing a game of trying to get past Kyaka's hands to his face.

Avis in turn took note of the festivites and the growing diversion, and decided that he needed a more enjoyable game to play with Arisa, and reached out swiftly, latching onto her hand, claws gingerly making a fierce grip on her wrist, careful not to scratch, and he proceeded to back up, away from the edge, to try and pull her forward.

Arisa was surprised at Avis' strenght, she resisted the best she could, keeping Avis at bay. At least he wasn't pulling her over the edge. It took Arisa a few moments to realize this was a game. She pulled him closer and with her free hand touched his head.
"Your so shy." Arisa said with a soft smile. "You don't have to be around me though."
Arisa looked him over softly, her eyes dropped to the sketchbook at Kyaka's side. Curiosity spurned her and she tugged at Avis to let him know that she was still playing.
"Is that your sketchbook?" Arisa asked. "You like to draw too?"

The movement slowed down between Kyaka and Rulan when Arisa spoke... shy? Was that what it was called? He hadn't known. Soon the game between Rulan and Kyaka had stopped, and both were just resting against one another.

Both Arisa's gaze and conversational topic had then shifted to Kyaka's sketch book. He turned his head in the same direction before nodding numbly. His hand fell onto the leather cover, and then held it out to Arisa. He was anything but shy when it came to his art.

Inside the covers was a multitude of sketches, consisting of bizarre creatures and intricate textures, all made with grafite. The only thing you wouldn't ever find in his sketch book was color, and shading. Or rather, color and shading that actually made sense.

"Oh wow... this is really good."
Arisa was very impressed with the sketches, though he seemed a little uneasy when he looked at it. She didn't understand why, they were great... the shading was a little off but she was still learning that too. She finished flipping through and placed it beside Kyaka's hand so it touched, that way he would know where his book was. She would have showed him hers but he might not have the same feelings... especially if he was blind. But his drawings were great, if he was blind he had some amazing talents.
Arisa caught a bit of a chill with the cooling down of night. She brought her donated blanket tighter around her. She looked up at the stars and sighed slightly. Despite the silence between them she was having a good time.
Arisa desided that the game had ended for Avis and brought him into her chest, cuddling him light and bringing the blanket around them so they were warm.
Arisa looked at Kyaka thought the corner of her eye, she woundered if he was totally blind or if he had some vision... though she felt it was too rude to ask. Arisa inched her way closer to Kyaka. She was curious about him but didn't feel that he would give her much anyway. He was so mysterious.
