So I was listening to the radio this morning and the DJs talked about how Ringo was supposed to go on Regis and Kelly. Well apparently the song he wanted to play was too long for the show and when he suggested cutting down on the talk time so he could have the extra minute for his song the people at the show told him that he couldn't do it. So Ringo walked out. And apparently what the show refused to cut down on was a discussion about Kelly's butt? Or so I was told by the radio.
Just thought it was something funny to share. And also how much Ringo rules. No one should have to compromise art in any form.

I completely agree with what he did. They would have given Hannah Montana the extra time, they can give the extra time to a stayed rock n' roll legend. I applaud Ringo for what he did, because if that were Paul, Paul probably would have done whatever they said, and while that's good for your image, it's bad for you personally. Which doesn't make Paul a bad guy by any means, Ringo's just got more to lose internally with an episode like that, you know? So I say good for him.

If that's true that they'd give Hannah Montana more time then that angers me. Hannah Montana isn't even a real musician. I remember when she was going to perform a concert in my area the radio people were talking about how she's as big as the beatles. But that's not the topic. Yeah I'm glad that Ringo did what he did. I'd do the same thing...Regis and Kelly aren't that great.

No, no, and for a third time, no. Honestly, the girl can barely sing! Why would anyone even COMPARE her to The Beatles, or any amazing rock band?!
Anywho...back on topic. I heard about that too; from a friend. She said that on the radio station she had listened to, they dissed Ringo. crying
I say good job Ringo for walking out. 3nodding
