Well, I'd blame it on three things but I know what it really was.
1. There was a stray avi that kept blocking my view of that damned rook. But I always knew it was there.
2. I was careless..Not exactly. I was being as careful as I could and scanned the board over and over before moving.
3. Talking..I was outnumbered by hundreds of talk bubbles that I kept losing sight of his queen. And even though he had an invisible bishop on me it didn't do much. I knew his queen was always there to finish me but my teamates were continuously streming text..I'd advise for the real game that if we talk that it be something important...I don't need mislead crap. -.-
Anyways, I don't count games that aren't a complete set to be 'real' games, so this was just a lesson to me. But next time I'd like a little peace...I'll be using a chess board at home to avoid the text flooding of demise, but it would help if when I turned back to the screen that I could find my own orders too.
Not to say we should all shut up and be boring little pieces, but just don't carry it out of control. sweatdrop

Yeah, i think especially when we have full games we all need to really pay attention and not talk so much (because it's easy to get into some side conversations when there isn't much going on or someone is thinking out their next move).
But losing is no big deal. We're all just playing for fun. 3nodding

Well, I know it's not a big deal..For that reason I would surely not have posted this loss and simply would admit that I messed up from being careless. But since the issue that caused my downfall was concerning, I did post it only to address the problem.
Edit: AND SOMEONE HAS BROKEN A NUMBER OF PIECES OF MY PRIZED CHESS BOARD! DEATH TO THE NEXT PERSON TO TOUCH IT! (Besides me.)

Losing is a big deal (in my opinion.) Even though these games are practice, it's a huge hit to my pride if I lost one. =/
But whatever floats your boats.
Just put up a good fight, and win for the guild in a real game. biggrin We gotta be the best!

Yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't talking as much as some people, but I was still contributing to it. sweatdrop
I think you did fairly well given the circumstances, and I know you'll do better with all the peices present. Heck, we would've made it out if we had our other knight. But it is all just a game, right? ^^;;
Hopefully the chatter will die down for the guild game so you can concentrate better. .___.;;;
