“K-kyo…its alright I…I can go home now.” Yumi's words echoed in Kyo's mind. "No no it can't end like this...." Yumi get up baby get up I'mma take you home our home." ...No response he felt her skin becoming cold, He knew her fate but he wouldn't allow himself to accept it. "Yumi if you love me get up baby we're gonna spend our life together I'm sorry... I'm sorry.." His words were muffled by a wet substance what he thought was the rain but happened to be his own tears. "Is this what Heaven wants for me?" Is this my punishment?" Does God hate me that much?" He picked Yumi up and yet again smelled the gunpowder. She was shot and he's still out there in the darkness watching me. Probably smiling at a job well done. Anger started to swell up in Kyo his veins felt as though they were going to burst. He didn't know what he felt more hatred for the person in the Shadows or Sorrow for Yumi's death. He was slowly losing his sanity. "YOU WANT ME?!!!! He called out into the darkness. Come and get me don't cower in the corners of the earth Your prey is right here!! .....No response only the sound of the rain hitting the ground Kyo knew he had to get Yumi out of there but knew her muderer was watching and he wanted to settle things now before he lost all leads forever. But he felt Yumi's skin getting colder against his own and decided to race her home. Without another word he placed Yumi's now fragile body over his shoulder and ran towards home. Yumi.... Pleas... Please your everything to me do't do this. Please don't die in my arms tonight. He ran like he never ran before his chest felt like nails were being drilled in to it from running so hard but he didn't care. Every step he took rain rose from the ground in a huge splash he kept running. The only light he had to guide him was the eerie light from the moon. Tears rushed down his face as he ran. My reason for living is gone he thought... What reason is there for living if I can't even save the one reason I woke up every morning? How will I wake up tomorrow? Maybe I won't the thought of his own death flashed across his mind but he shook it off and kept running. She's not dead she's resting he tried to trick his mind into believing it but his mind knew otherwise. "Oh My God why now why not me?!!" He was Breathing hard his chest was on fire and Yumi was getting colder every second. "Yumi we're going home I promise you stay with me baby I need you here with me I love you." ....once again No response. Yumi he sobbed, "say something to me!" "I want to hear your voice again." "Don't leave me here all alone please!!" His sanity was decreasing faster and faster now. "God can't have you yet Your not his baby your mine and your staying here with me." He knew she wouldn't respond but he kept talking to her anyway as he picked up his pace and ran through the empty streets towards their home. He can't have you because I can't live without you. If He takes you I'll make him take me as well.... BOOM Lightning struck at that moment and a loud bang was heard Kyo fell to the ground dropping Yumi as well. But he didn't get back up He couldn't he felt pain in his back and felt like he was on fire but he couldn't scream, he couldn't even open his mouth to gasp for air. He was face to face with Yumi on the ground. Her eyes were closed and she looked so pale. With every ounce of his strength he reached a hand out for her slowly, but then his eyes began to shut slowly the pain had taken it's toll. He couldn't breath he couldn't call out for help he couldn't even move anymore. He was staring into the face of the only girl he ever loved. But then every started to get blurry and began fading.... fading... fadiing.... Fading to Black
