I've been talking with the leader of another chess guild, and we're planning on having a full game (hopefully!) this Friday.
Before all the details are worked out though, I'd like to know who here would be able to participate in a game this Friday. biggrin
EDIT: Okay, I'm going to list the called pieces here, so people can volenteer for what's left.
(WE WILL BE PLAYING AS THE BLACK TEAM! PLEASE PREPARE YOUR OUTFITS! biggrin )

Pawns (8/8 ): Kelly Kapoor, Kynxah, Ryuuna-chan, Fabricated Hierophant, Boondoogle, tantum angel, Essouffle, Kari Mezmaru

Knights (2/2): Nykael, Mylian
BACKUP LIST:
Ukki Gold (Bishop or Pawn?)
Kali Sword (Any Piece!)

Midnight Myth (Anything? smile )
EDIT2: WE'RE ALL FULL! But even if you're not on this list, please try to come anyway! You know how it is. Sometimes people have to leave suddenly, or also, and likely, our rival guild's team will not have enough members present to fill an entire side. If that's the case, you can still play for their side. biggrin We won't hold it against you! lol.
Now would be a good time to discuss strategy with King Hotehnoez (as the King, he will be the one playing the game. He will call out all of our team's moves)! HOWEVER, be warned that the leader of our rival guild IS A MEMBER of this guild, so he will be able to look at anything you post here related to strategy. ninja
If you'd like, feel free to use my house at 4 Barton 001265 (first house on the right) to discuss the strategy for Friday's game. I gave it a chessy-theme. xd Or, discuss through PMs or other means outside of the guild.
THE GAME SHOULD START AROUND 4 PM (PST), SO I WOULD SUGGEST COMING TO THE BOARD AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFOREHAND. I would also expect the game to go on for a long time (2 hours? Maybe MORE?), so please check and make sure you'll be around long enough to finish the whole game. Since this is our first full (hopefully!) game, I have no idea exactly how long it will take to finish.

Cool beans! The other guild currently has 15 members, so if they all can't make it, or even if they can, some of us might and will have to play for the other team. sweatdrop But it's all in good fun and stuff, right? Haha.
