Sydney walked into the building, through the corridor, down the stairs and to the bar.
Sydney had just sat at a bar stool when a drunken Nord came staggering up to him.
"Ugh... Another freaking Dark Elf in this swamp-ridden hole of a province!" Sydney ignored him, not wanting to cause a big fuss. The Nord was a rather large specimen, and it was obvious that the bar tender ((Phane Rielle, right? lol, call me sad, but I have a memory for these things)) was not very happy about approaching the Nord in fear for his own well-being.
The Nord continued.
"You... *Hic* you Elves are all the same! Think you're so much better that the rest of u... *hic* u...us!"
Sydney decided that he would see far he could push this Nord. He had convinced himself that it wasn't for the fun... so much as the help it would do to the bar tender.
"Better than you? Not a high accomplishment. That could be achieved by the common guar..." He taunted, waiting for a fight to ensue.
It came quickly. "Why... *hic* you little!" The Nord said, obviously as brain-dead as a skoomer-fueled scamp.
The Nord swung a punch at Sydney.
Sydney ducked, not leaving his seat on the bar stool, and swung around on his seat, taking the Nord's feet out from him.
Finishing the spinning movement facing towards the bar, where he was originally looking, he said to the barman:
"One mazte, please..." He said calmly, looking at the table-top of the bar.
"Um... of course!" The bar tender said hurriedly, scrambling around slightly. "Here, it's on the house, for the Nord..." He handed the drink to Sydney, turned away and walked up the stairs to the entrance muttering:
"Where is my damned bouncer?!"
