Roleplaying is very popular, so I've gathered some info if you're new to it.
What it is

In short you just play pretend, and in forum based rp you have to write it all down (usually taking turns so all players gets a say). This means that most rp players appreciate literacy.
The person who starts a roleplay should decide on the rules first - you don't want to find out the hard way why rules are needed.
