Hey! I'd like your opinion on the best Rush member, song, album, tour, etc./ Here are mine: Neil Pearts the best member, La Villa Strangliato is the best song, 2112 is the best album... but I haven't seen them in concert, tho I have the Rio concert on dvd.

Well Seth, I have to agree with you on Neil as my favorite member. Best song would have to be, sorry but it's the whole side one of 2112. (side one being the album, not the cd). So best album would have to be 2112. I saw the snakes and arrows tour in Pittsburgh last summer and I too have the Rio tour on dvd and if I had to chose between those two, I think I would have rather been in Rio. I have a thing for dragons and they used him a lot in that tour.

I liked the R30 tour better than Rio or Snakes & Arrows, because I liked the set list better. It kind of had a better flow to it than last year's Snakes & Arrows, in my opinion. However, when they played Denver last year, they were really having fun on the stage, and the crowd was really getting into it (everyone moved forward throughout the concert, so at the end we basically had a mosh pit...at a Rush concert...with guys old enough to be my father xd ), and that made it really cool as well.

Well, if anyone read my introduction, they'd know my favourite Rush member is Also Neil. Like Shanra, my favourite Album is 2112 and my favourite song is side A to that very Album. As for tours I, *gasp*, never been to one. I hate to name drop but I know someone who went to the original Exit: Stage Left tour and they said it was the best concert they've ever been to.

Its so hard to chose a favorite song, I love their Spirit of Radio album and 2112.

I saw them in concert this past august, my fiance and I went, and we had third row floor seats. It was INCREDIBLE!

I think Rush's group dynamic is hilarious. I mean, let's face it: Neil is not the most comedic guy in the world. He's extremely serious. On the other hand, you've got Alex being arrested for being drunk in public and then Geddy singing,"We are the pirates/Of the Temples of Syrinx/All the gifts of life/Are down below!"

I'm amazed they've stayed together so long. I love all three of them.

Favorite album would have to be 2112. It got me into music, and I think Tears is one of the most lyrically puzzling songs I've ever heard...I honestly don't know what it's about. I mean, I know it seems obvious but...There's something in it that really baffles me.

Favorite song's The Trees, though.

Hemispheres and A Farewell To Kings were two incredible albums, as well.

Did you know tears is one of the few songs to which the lyrics can be attributed to Geddy?

Hmm it's hard to choose a favorite with such a huge back catalogue of songs.

Albumwise i'd say either Moving Pictures, Permanent Waves or Snakes and Arrows.

My favorite drum beats however are YYZ and The Main Monkey Business (Neil's new Paragon Diamondback China really makes an introduction in this song, such a lovely sound!)

It's so hard to choose between the three. I can't. Equal praise.

My favorite album hands down is "Moving Pictures". "AFTK" and "Perm Waves" aren't too far behind either. "Snakes and Arrows" is up there as well. It's my favorite album of the year, and the best Rush album in years.

Favorite song always fluctuates. "A Farewell to Kings" is one of my favorites. "Limelight", "Tom Sawyer", "Different Strings", "Bastille Day", "Hope", "Armor and Sword," I better stop. This could take a while. Haha.

I've only been to one Rush show ( S & A '07 ) but it really blew me away. Some songs I wasn't familiar with, but it didn't matter. Watching these guys play is so inspirational, especially for a fellow musician.

My favorite member of Rush is Geddy Lee because no one I have ever heard could ever be as talented to play bass and keyboards along with singing. My favorite song....all of them. It is so hard to chose from them. My favorite album is Grace Under Pressure. I've never been to a Rush concert (I am hoping to get to soon.), but the best I've seen on DVD has to be between Grace Under Pressure and R30.
