Hellos and welcome to my Rant thread, a thread in which i will post a daily rant; if i remember that is. Since this is a rant thread, not a journal, i felt it went in teh OOC forum. Please don't post here, please.
First off, Huzzahs are in order for the creator of the shower, because in which, i thought up this idea. Second, Huzzahs for Super Smash Bros Brawl. There has been a leak of a roster number; 48. What does this mean? Well, simply put, it means that there will be 48 playable characters. Duh. If this leak is real, not fake, it gives me hope for more FE characters to be included, like Hector, Tibarn, or Micaiah. You see, if it wasn't for Super Smash Bros Melee, the Americas and Europe wouldn't know of Fire Emblem. Thanks to the popularity of Marth and Roy, Nintendo decided to bring the FE series over to North Ameria, then to Europe, i think. Since FE is so popular now, i strongly believe that they will be forced to include more than 2 playable characters and 3 assist trophies. So far, we know this:
- Ike is playable. 'Nuff said.
- Lyn is an Assist Trophy. Her infamous critical, talk about sharp.
- Sothe is an Assist Trophy. He kicks and punches, as seen in the RD opening movie. No knives are allowed in Brawl.
- 3 Pegasus Knights are an Assist Trophy. They perform their Triangle Attack. FTW!!
I would very strongly want to see Marth and Roy taken out, Hector added as a playable character, and maybe Micaiah, Tibarn (FTW!) and/or Eirika/Ephraim playable too. But as an optimist, i want to see Joshua, Mia and Zihark in Brawl, but there is a part of me that says "No, you tard! They aren't as famous and/or memorable!" and i forget those ideas. And then theres that rumor that there is a FE baddie that summons monsters and is a Subspace Emissary (SSE) boss. At first thought, i said "Izuka!" but then i thought more. Kishuna, Lyon, heck, even Knoll and that pesty n00b Ewan could be the summoner. And then theres the Black Knight, BK for short. He has to be a SSE boss. Think about it. Ike is in. The black knight is Ike's mortal foe. The BK has to be in. Playable or boss, i don't care. As long as Makalov or Meg aren't in, I'll be fine. *Edit* I just Pre-Ordered Brawl. Huzzahs!! =D

What to rant, what to rant. Hmmm... Oh, why not RNG. Random Number Generator for long. Wait... What ever, deal with it. So, RNG controls stat ups, hit chances, and others in RD, heck, all of the FE's. So, in RD, it tends to screw you over. Example: Leonardo, your first archer. only 8 strength by the time you get him, and he's level 3. You think 'Okay, this should be easy.' But you are horribly wrong. By level 10, mine only had 10 strength. The ironic thing is, his strength growth is 40%, which means that every level up, there is a 40% chance that his strength will go up. Now, in my game, Part 4, chapter 2, Leo is a level 4 Marksman, archer's third tier, and he has 30 strength. Huzzah for BEXP abuse. Then there is Meg. People tend to hate her because she is a pain to level. Well, my second play through, i somehow got her to max speed, defense, strength, and others. She could even double attack a sniper. At the Endgame, she was a level 10 Marshall, the armor units 3rd tier. I didn't use her, because i wanted Zihark to shine, and boy did he. He was RNG blessed in my game. Maxed everything at level 5 TrueBlade, myrmidon's third tier. Then there is poor Fiona. A lance knight with 8 strength. Now, in my game, she's a level 2 Silver Knight, lance and bow knight's third tier, with 27 strength. I seem to be blessed by the RNG Goddess. Huzzah. My second run through, my Dawn Brigade was horrible. Nolan, your axe warrior, only had 16 strength upon promotion. I was like 'WTF??' and i was sad because his cool Facial Hair alone could defeat Jarod, Endgame 1's boss. But, i digress, potential RD players, do not anger the RNG goddess, her power is all powerful. She also controls whether Sothe gets his with a 11% chance or not. Alas, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I know this by experience. Back to the topic. Beware Micaiah's HP growth too. 20 at level 18. But that's what Seraph robes are for. =D

What to rant about this time.... Oh yea! The new leak! Well, Nintendo did a 'Oops!' times ten. They confirmed 3 characters without meaning to. On the Japanese Wii.com site, they had a commercial for Super Smash Bros brawl. Well, the commercial went into detail about the stickers, which provide power-ups for SubSpace Emissary. Weell, there are some stickers that may only be used by certain characters. And those characters' icons are shown. Well, for the Groudon Sticker(Pokemon), it listed the characters' faces: Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Lucario, and Jiggleypuff. The last two were not confirmed until some guy watched it and went 'Hey! They are now confirmed!' I did say three characters, right? Well the third is a vet. Ness is also now accidentally confirmed. Same as the others, only by his own sticker. Go figure. And then there is a pic on the English Smashbros.com website. It is also a sticker. An Animal Crossing character called Katrina. Her sticker ups magic by 12, i think. But the pic is so zoomed in, that you can't see anything but thee sticker, its description, and a part of a U in the next section where it says who can use it. The pic can be found here. Now, I'm guessing you want to know who can use magic, right? Weeeell, lets see, shall we? There is Zelda, um... maybe Pit, and thats it for confirmed characters. Who do i think its for? Take a guess.......
Micaiah!
Or an Animal Crossing character. But, i like the idea of another FE rep alot better, so we'll go with that. See, if Micaiah's in, then that means the summoner guy is Izuka, which also means that the BK is in, for Ike. huzzah! =D

Today's rant will first focus on those characters from RD and PoR that no one seemed to like, except for me then shift to some other things. First off, Ilyana from RD. She comes at a high level, 14, and right off, people shun her. Why? Poor hit rate. Well, since they made Thunder magic lose some hit, they upped the critical, by about 5~ish. To solve this problem, just forge a thunder tome with a large hit. Viola! One of the best mages in the game. Then there's Meg. I don't understand why no one likes her. Laguz abuse. In the chapter she comes, she can sit next to a green pot, and have Micaiah sacrifice and Laura heal Mic. Abuse is fun. Now, Fiona. She sucks in the beginning. 8 Strength? WTF? She can be good, with alot of BEXP babying. Now, Mist from both RD and PoR. She can be great! Just needs some help.
Next up is a typical mean rant. Rules. Why doesn't anyone follow them? Someone posted in my rant thread. When it clearly states not to! Then there are those people who just do things just to get on our nerves. I mean, why would you post a link to some random pae that has nothing to do with the topic!! And then there's double posts. I hate them in RPs. I had problems in my guild a few times. Made me want to kick a baby.
Now, since my hands are freezing, i'll make this next part short. Copycats are annoying. Especially when they don't ask in the first place. My cousin always had to act like me. When i had a migraine, she had one too. You get the general idea, right? Well, that's it for today's rant. Cio!

Okay, I'm borrowing a rant because my cat encroached upon my lap. Thank FairaSkye for this cleaver one: Subject of mental torture today! Darth Vader! Has anyone noticed he's pretty race-confused? All throughout the movies, he's this big, black voiced, black suit of...plastic or whatever it is. And then in the last one, when Le-anne Skywalker (luke always looked incredibly girly to me..at least next to vader..) pulls of the mask, and theres this crusty old white guy with this feeble, wheezy voice. The towering, *breath breath* I like bunnies *breath breath* twirly red lightsaber guy was FRICKIN awesome, I'll give him that. But it was....so...STUPID! And then he died, saying something all....MUSHY! SITH LORDS ARE NOT MUSHY!! IT DEFIES LOGIC!!
Grr...Well, he looked good as Anikan(Anankin??) though so all fangirls are happy on that part.. heh. And now i must go and wonder what the next Death Note is going to be.... *Note: This came from a Star Wars Fangirl. Not me.

I really. Hate. My. School. District. Okay, so my school needs an upgrade. There are like 3 freshly broken windows, and they just fixed them today. I don't live in a city, mind you, but there are pranksters. Several desks are in disrepair. Books need bindings, lunch lines need fruit and veggies, and the fries need less grease. And what does the district do? THEY BUY F***EN SEGWAYS FOR THE ALREADY USELESS SECURITY GUARDS!! I mean, the security guards before included a racist sexist, a pervy one, and ooold man, and one who locks the doors by accident. Now, with the segways, they don't even do their job!! Of course, they do provide comedy when one falls off(How??) and when one runs into the wall(Again, how??). Then when they zoom by your class, they make the school sound like a futuristic prison!! It makes me want to drop-kick a baby. Not really, but you get the drift. They're worse than that kid who always steals food!! D=

Another mini-rant. Sensitive subject, so bear with me. One of my friends, a Linux-obsessed-calculator-junkie, has a stalker. A mentally challenged kid. He circles him like a shark. Well, one day, he beat the crap outta said friend. Bashed his head intot he desk No one does anything. Nothing. Well, he told the security guards, and they 'talked' to him. Then the kid wrote him a death threat. Said friend gave it to a dean. The dean said he'd take care of it. Nothing happenes. Then he drew blood. The victem, said friend's ear. He is now thinking about sueing the district for not protecting him. Yep, my district, Cherry Creak School District #5 sucks.

Well. Gummy worms that are supposed to be sour are not sour at all. As my school's self proclaimed 'Warhead Champ', i know sour. They might be sour to fish. But fish can't taste sour, can they? Must go Google... Anyway, I'll Google it later. So... Sour candy! The only candy that has earned a grimace from me is Sour Nerds. The irony. You see, i love Nerds, and for my ITCS (Intro To Computer Science for you n00bs) final, my teacher handed our Sour Nerds and AirHeads. O joy! Haven't had an AirHead in ages. They weren't really sour either. But anyway, when i got the Nerds, i emptied the whole small fun-sized box in my mouth and chewed, and my tongue went: "Are you f***** serious?? These are sour!!" needless to say, i'm never emptying the whole thing in my mouth ever again.

You know, as much as i trash babies in this thread, i actually don't hate them. In a way, they're just fun to poke fun at. Drop kicking a baby, slap a baby, punting a baby, etc. I don't do these things. I have a conscience. The worst i would do is laugh at one for sneezing or something equally stupid. But there are some people who i wish i could drop kick. Paris Hilton(upcoming rant about her) n00bs that try to trade a item that costs less than 5k for something more than 100k, some other idiotic n00bs, and those who are just inconsiderate(rant about them coming too). Then there are those who don't pay attention at all. They make me want to kick their head, then gouge out their eyes with a wooden spork and feed it to them. They are just sooo frustrating. Then there are idea thieves. They take the general idea of something of mine, and slightly twist it. I wish i could just delete their hard drive for this. I hate thieves!! Especially when they say that they didn't do anything wrong. And they did and its obvious!! But back to the main point. I am not mean to babies whatsoever.

Who wants to talk about paradoxes? I do! Okay, when i had this one in my signature, i got like five pms wanting to argue:
If there is an infinite amount of stars, then why is the night sky black?
The best answer i got was: "They don't love us enough." The others had nothing to do with the main point. One was: "Because of a sub-space temporal warp anomaly." That person was watching too much Star Trek. An unhealthy amount of Star Trek.
Okay, another, less brain power involved paradox:
One grain of sand is not a heap. If you don't have a heap, then adding only one grain of sand won't give you a heap. Then no number of grains of sand will make a heap. Similarly, one hair can't make the difference between being bald and not being bald. But then if you remove one hair at a time, you will never become bald. Also similar, one dollar will not make you rich, so if you keep this up, one dollar at a time, you will never become rich, no matter how much you obtain.
Its easy. More infinite numbers!! =D

Moving on to a different paradox...
The classic "This sentence is false." paradox. They make sense at first, but then they're like "WTH??" Because if the sentence is false, then the part that says it is false is true, thus breaking the point.
Too much thinking for today, so I'll leave you with this:
"If a hotel with infinitely many rooms is full, it can still take in more guests."

2007 TU24. Don't know what it is? It is a giant meteor that could kill us! =D There are 3 scenarios.
1. It crashes into the Earth, killing us all.
2. It hits the moon, causing it to hit the Earth, killing us all.
3. It gets negatively charged by Mars, then when it flies by, it causes a gigantic explosion, killing alot of people, and delaying Brawl's release.
Of course, these possibilities have a .0000024524% chance of happening. We will be safe. I think. #3 happened in Siberia, the culprit being a 50 meter in diameter meteor. It was negatively charged, blowing a 150 meter hole in the earth. =D

Moving on, I got into an argument today with a friend. He said Jill was better than Haar. Guess my position. You're right. Haar is the better DragonLord. Mine maxed everything at levels ??/20/3, that's the tier levels, in order from DragonKnight, DragonMaster, and DragonLord, respectively. Well, we didn't have enough arguing time, mainly because i told him how to get the special Soren/Ike ending that reveals a major plot twist. We agreed on Meg being pretty awesome, and that Fiona isn't really good when she comes at level 9, in chapter 9, with 8 strength. But yea, i now have a really good argument buddy. =D

School sucks your soul out. Or at least mine does. Got home from my typical 2.5 mile walk, and i almost fell asleep. Walking. It wasn't the walk. It was the learning. I mean, I love learning, probably the only one who does, but today was harsh. I can do molarities and pH, but for some reason, i couldn't do concoctions. I-I was dumb feeling! The math wouldn't click! But then again, i hadn't done it in about a year.I call it even. Then there is the cafeteria. When there is a retarded fight, everyone swarms over to the area, leaving everything unguarded. Even their food. Don't get me started on people who fight. They make me want to kick their heads. I swear, people who fight aren't really thinking when they do it? WTH??

Well, Marth's final smash involves beating the crap outta the opponent with a FE lifebar. Heh, its actually his critical in 3d. I haven't seen it yet, but W00t just the same.
Ummm...
Haar is better than Jill... Mia is the best sword user, Lucia is the worst... Pelleas is better than Soren... Yea... Quite an argument... Indeed... Ummm... Ilyana can do some damage with a stave... And for my last words, I'll say this:
Micaiah is the best magic user in the History of FE, except for Pelleas, who comes in a tie with Her.
