Welcome to my contest.
A Picture's Worth 1,ooo Words is a two part contest, one part for camwhores, and another part for people who aren't so good at that sorta thing.
This contest won't be on a time schedule.
When I get enough entries, I'll start to get judging and voting and that sorta thing and winners will be picked.
As soon as that's done, I'll begin a new round, so you'll just have to check back every once in awhile to see where we are.
PM all entries to me.
The prize for each part is 1k (donations for this would be great!), and if you win the 1st part, you can't participate in the 2nd part.
You may, however, enter again in the next round, until I decide you've won enough. :b
More specific rules for each part are below in their own posts.

Part 1
arrow Camwhores will PM me a picture that they feel tells a story. [My PM alerts are okay now so disregard the previously bracketed message.]
arrow Only one picture/entry per person, but each picture can be made up of no more than two related pictures, sorta like a before&after type thing, but that doesn't need to be the reason for the two pictures in one. Basically what I'm saying is you can only send me one image URL, but two related pictures can be on it if you wish.
arrow Entries may not have text or titles. It basically tells the writer the story for them.
arrow One picture must be of YOU, though it can also have other people or things. If you're using two related pictures, the other can be whatever you wanna use.
arrow I'm not sure I need to say this, but you MUST be the photographer of your entry. (If you had to get a friend to take your picture for you for some reason or another that's fine, as long as it's your idea. I just don't want people going online to look for a good picture and try to win with it here.)
arrow Sometimes I might give the camwhores a theme for their pictures. If I feel you don't follow the theme, I'll ask you about it, and you can tell me how it does. If I still disagree, you won't make it into the round unless you can give another picture that does fit it before I start the judging and such.
arrow I will pick my favorite two, based on which ones I feel are the most artistic, funniest, best looking, etc. and which ones best tell a story. Creativity counts, as always!
arrow My favorite two will go up for voting. First to 10 votes wins the 1k.

Part 2
arrow The picture that won from the Part 1 will be posted in this post below the dotted line, and Part 2 contestants will write about the story it tells to them.
arrow One entry per person, and each entry can be between 10 and 1000 words. [No more than a 1000, because pictures aren't worth any more than that. lol]
arrow The writing can be in any form. It can be traditional paragraph story writing, or you can write poetry, or whatever you can think of as long as it's words. You can also write about what happened before and/or after what the pictures shows, too, as long as you address what's in the picture, too. But don't say "I think" or "to me" or anything like that.
arrow Sometimes I might give the writers a theme, and your story has to go with it. If you don't see how the picture can fit that theme, then you'll just have to think harder. The camwhore's theme and the writer's theme can be very different if I so choose, so be ready.
arrow I will pick my favorite two, based on which ones I feel describe the picture the best, which ones are most creative, and which ones tell the best story. You don't have to be a great writer to win. I'm not judging so much on who can give me something with perfect grammar and giant words, etc.
arrow My favorite two will go up for voting. First to 15 votes wins the 1k.
