Order of the Stick
Order of the Stick is a webcomic based around a group of adventureres ina D&D universe. The comic is full of humor, drama and fourth wall breakaing goodness. The creator just happens to be an award winning RPG maker and as such knows his target audience as well as the subject. If you read the strip and enjoy it I reccomend buying the supplimentary Graphic Novels that he publishes for further enjoyment with collected strips and origional non web content.

I am tremendously nitpicky with webcomics, so this is actually a list of the only webcomics I'll read at all.

Kid Radd: One of the best, if not THE best sprite comic ever made. It's a complete story that's already over and done with, so you can also download the entire thing in an 8.4Mb zip file. Lots of 80's pop culture references and existential crises.

XKCD: If you're not reading this, kick yourself a few hundred times and then go read the entire thing. It's awesome, and the epitome of true geekdom, in comic form. It's also stick figures. And awesome. Did I mention awesome?

Dr. McNinja: He fights Ronald McDonald with an invisible rocket launcher, and that's just the first part. Just go read it. He's the only doctor-slash-ninja you will EVER need in your life.

Questionable Content: A comic about semi-trendy indie music geeks, made BY semi-trendy indie music geeks. I came for the clean art style and stayed for the character interactions.

Dinosaur Comics: Almost every comic looks EXACTLY the same, but it still manages to be completely hilarious.

Achewood: Stuffed animals with really interesting lives. This is a long comic with a long history and lots and lots of awesomeness. I've got their cookbook. 3nodding

The Perry Bible Fellowship: Well drawn and hilarious, cheerfully morbid, and really strange. I don't think I've come across even ONE comic here that I didn't actually laugh out loud at.

...Damn, that's more comics than I thought. And I think there's more somewhere. These are just the ones I remember to check semi-frequently.

Bob and George has the distinction of being the Granddaddy of Sprite Comics Its a complete series utilizing Megaman sprites to retell some of the games as well as their own goofy stories. Days of fun sifting through the archives so sit back and enjoy

8bit theater is to Final Fantasy what Bob and George is to Megaman. A goofy retelling of the first game in the series Follow the Light Warriors on their quest for fun and profit . And laugh as Blackmage tries to kill everything in sight.

I had a webcomic with a friend of mine, and I just shoved the archive up, so I might as well link that here too: The Badass Trio. The old site was a lot prettier looking back when we were still actively updating, but at least you get to see the nice sprites I made damn near from scratch after around #50. smile
