Hello I am kinda ADD so i decided to start this thread.
this is the area where you can introduce yourself.
talk about why you joined a chess guild and that stuff.
My name is Pacifice. I'm from colorado...where it is cold.
I always liked chess, and just for the record...I was the one that said
there should be giant chess boards, hehe
I'm 19...and have played all my life.

Hello! My name's Kieli-Anne. I'm from Ontario, Canada. I am now in my 2nd year of a university degree in Linguistics and Languages. I was on my school's chess team/club for a couple years where I went to a few tournaments. Mind you this was quite a few years ago but I still enjoy playing for fun with family and/or friends.
Ever since I heard about the new boards in towns I have wanted to play a game on them. Though I have joined in on the beginnings of several games none have actually gone beyond the first couple moves as people keep trying to join in or leave randomly. I was hoping that by joining this guild I might finally get a chance to play out a game.

I'm Gem, and I be 16, English and female.
I've been playing chess for about 3 years now and I'd say that I'm an average player.. Although I don't cope well under the stress of someone telling me to hurry up with my moves >w<;;
I joined the guild because it looks like it's gonna be a helluva lot of fun! ;D
Besides.. I like the power that comes with being a mod.

Hey there! biggrin I'm 17-years-old (18 in March) and I live in a tiny town in California near the Nevada border! My name is Molly.
I was addicted to computer chess game when I was a little kid and I played a lot with my dad and sister, too. 3nodding I'm not an expert or even that good, but I have a lot of fun and don't completely suck. Haha.

I'm Kari. I'm from California (where it's...um...dry?), and I'm pretty much young. >_> 13 to be exact...
I've been playing chess on and off for a few years now. Ever since my brother lost the chess board, I haven't played. So I may be rusty on my average skills. I still have enough skills to beat my brother in a game though. biggrin

I'm Ryuu, I'm also, from California, 18, and in my senior year of HS (It sucks >.>) I like Chess, I've played it for several years in different clubs at my schools and jobs, though it's been a little while since I've played a game with an above average player xD I hope we can actually get a full game going.

I'm Arcane Psycho, or just Psycho. I'm from one of the worst states in the USA, otherwise known as Utah. I'm a freshman, so yeah. I'm 15, but my parents won't let me get my permit yet (gotta wait for drivers ed.). I've only played chess with my sister, but I got whooped by her many times. So yeah.

Hello, I'm Yen Quest, and you can say I'm just a newbie to this game. xD
I'm in the Eastern part of US (MA) and am just practicing with my art and view of things. Haven't touched chess for years, and I think I actually finished only few rounds of chess my whole life. I've joined because I'm interested in watching the pro at work. I'll be the extra piece on the chessboard if need be. ^_^

I'm Midnight Myth, I'm 18 years old and a freshman in college currently majoring in biology. I've been playing chess for as long as I remember. My father was the first to teach me. Then in high school me and a few guy friends created the chess club.
I dislike knights, they are my suicide units. Rooks are my favorite piece. I like Disney movies, musicals (except HSM... yuck), Cheerios, any board or card game, Wii, Super Smash Brothers, cats, Gregory Maguire books, Apple (long live my MacBook!), sugar, soccer, saying random stuff, not acting my age, Azuyan, roleplaying, my friends, LOTR, Sudoku, the Inheritance Trilogy (though there are 4 books now), smilies, ... I'll stop for now.
I'm still relatively new to Gaia.

[Nothing is good or bad...] I'm Chris, I'm 17, and I enjoy playing chess somewhat, though I rarely have people to play with and I'm not as good as I could be. sweatdrop
I like the chess items, and I enjoy fencing quite a bit. I tend to be a bit quiet and uncertain a lot of the time. [...but thinking makes it so.]

Hey! I'm Res! ^_^ I'm 16. A geek. I love manga, video games, computers, technology, toesocks, and a ton of other things. I've been playing chess since I was little. I love it, cause it really makes you use your brain. I've also been in the Chess Club at my school for the past 3 years.
