Okay, so as I said in my other post, I can perhaps make another banner/welcome pic/anything animated.

Hmmm... First things first, what should we do about recruitment/ publicness or privateness (or hiddeness) of the guild?
Should we set up a thread in the guilds' forum, or just invite people who seem to be intersested in chess and/ or playing it on gaia? =P
Oh, and Kari
I can only do fairly simple banners, as I don't know how to animate things yet (Even though I have GIMP, but I haven't quite figured everything out on that yet) ^__^;;
So, if you want, you can be in charge of banners and other graphics.. And I'll try to help as much as I can =D;;

Umm, hmm. Maybe the join fee? I'm sort of leaning against having one, because the gold donated directly to a guild can't be used for anything except sub-forums, and the only sub-forums I could ever see us having are "black team" and "white team" ones, and Kali already donated enough to get two sub-forums.
Wow, that was really long-winded. xd What do you think?

So is the guild going to be public so we can have anough people to play the game or are we going to have so many people that people will take shifts for games?

Yay my first guild...ok donated 1k...anyway.
Should we start the same forum we have outside the guild in the guild...so once they get invited they can just move over here?

Blah, back from my minutes of doing something else.
Okay, I know how to animate partly with Gimp and stuff, so will it be an animated banner or whatnot?
I believe a private guild would work, considering the spammers on Gaia and such.
So...any ideas for a welcome pic? i was thinking of two Gaians playing a chess game and moving Gaian chess pieces. xD

So it'll probably be a private guild, to make sure that the people involved know how to play chess and can be assigned certain positions.
