Do you guys have moments when you read something, it doesn't even have to be Craft related, and then--maybe a few days later--you read/see something that hammers it home?
Is it coincidence? Or is it the Gods trying to show you how theory applies?
I've had more and more moments like this in the past month than I've ever had.
So, tell me...have you ever had a moment?

Okay, I just got done reading about the web of existence and how we're all connected and whatnot, then on another guild I read about how life is what one makes it, if one looks at the world in a grim and dismal way, it is that way to everyone, but then it suddenly changes.
I don't know...somehow I tied it in together to the web of existence. I know it might not make sense now, but...it did then. It's hard to explain.

I think I get ya. It sounds like I'm sure I probably have had one of those little moments in the past but cant really bring to mind any specific occasion. I have how ever found a lot of times when I first started getting into my religion and practices find that when I would read something (especially if it was of Irish tradition and lore) that I would think to myself "Hey I've always thought that, I didn't know others did as well, thought I was kind of out of my mind or just odd" Or there would be things I would do with out having researched then read about it being done that way for the same reason I did it and it find myself pretty perplexed but it kind of built up my self-esteem as witch.

I've had a lot of moments, more or less, like your describing recently. Some of it is just the forming of connections like you've experienced but every once in a while there is that flash of inspiration.
In my path, as a Magickal Christian, I take it as God proving to me that he is indeed leading me as I move forward.

Yeah, Matron, I did that all the time. I started shielding before I knew why or what for or what from. And I was on the astral plane wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy before I knew what that was. I'm a daydreamer-- 3nodding .
And DARK, that's exactly how I see it, too. The Lord and Lady are showing me how it applies out-of-text.

I've done it too, without knowing why or even how then read about it later, in all honesty it actually scared me. >.< What I want to know is how I knew. A guide of some sort? Or doing it in a past life maybe?
Heh, I'm a big time spacey person these days so it usually takes me a while to connect things like that. For example; recently horses and Pegasus’s have been appearing in my dreams and then for x-mas my dad gave me figures of them. Then today when I was thinking about doing some animal magick I was wondering what to do and which of my familiars to work with and for some reason an old memory of a white wild horse that comforted me when I was younger flashed through my mind (Still nothing clicked). So I went to my tarot deck (Which happens to be an animal one) and asked which of my animals would be best to ask for help with and the horse came up. I never worked with a horse before, my animal guides and familiars (Now all spiritual) are a cat, a tiger, a dog, a black widow, and on rare occasions there has been a wolf that comes to me. I was really slow with that, and my love picked on me for not figuring it out sooner. sweatdrop

I've had that happen before. but with me its more like I read something and then It happens to me or I get a super wake up call.
for example. this may sound a little discriminatory but I don't mean it like that. I went to a christian convention called BattleCry. now I was a pagan at the time(and still am) and was going more for the rock bands(like Flyleaf and POD). ALL my freinds payed my fair, they were convinced that this would get me to convert to christ. rolleyes so I go and when I wen't I had an emotional rollercoster ride. from pissed,to pity, to a feeling of being alone it the end, not sharing the feeling of warmth the other guys where feeling. after that for about two months. I was constanly hit with the fact that christianity has an almost choking grip on are society. we have ATF, Battle Cry, TBN, EWTN. andChristian schooling. I'm not saying christians are bad or there's to many. just that after Battlecry, i really relised how many there were.

Yeah, I was thinking something along those lines the other day. Christians are--or seem to be--everywhere, but if you go to a Christian church (or one that I used to go to), they say that the world's going down Christianity-wise. Everyone thinks they're the minority. 3nodding

I've had plenty of moments. Lately, they've all had to do with school sweatdrop I've found that when I read/talk about something for a class, then it will be mentioned in at least one other class. Not always, but it usually happens about three to four times a month.

Our lives a pretty involved here so they have to try other ways of geting our attention. smile
