No quoting towers are allowed, however they are allowed to be used when referring to a past post and for good reason. We will not point out one spelling error in a quote tower.

Please, when posting use the preview, topic review just in case someone posts immediatly before you. It happens.
Please don't use emotes or strikes. It gets annoying.
Type in a neat size 9-11 please. And please post in a color that would remind us of your character. No two people should have the same color. And you arn't limited to the color options Gaia gives you. You can use these color codes. But please, no colors that would make our eyes bleed.
If it's not too much trouble I'd like you, in every post to maybe crop your RP appearance and post it. This is so we don't always have to go to the front page for your appearance and you can pick out your posts even more easily. If you don't understand what I'm asking, look to my very first post for an idea.

FEAR NOT! For I will accept reservations. These reservations will only be open for three hours. After that.. your through. However, if you reserve and I just happen to have to go, be lucky.. for first come, first serve no matter what the time. This rule only applies to my abrupt absense.
And last but not least, I must ask you not to choose pictures that are posed funny. When I crop it to my standards I would like to get a good shot of your character, so no dignally posed people or group shots. And please avoid pictures that are damn near thumbnails.

Jackson Downey Swift was born without his Weir stone. This was not common but not unheard of either. As said before without a weir stone the weir will surly die but Jackson's Aunt would not allow it.
Linda called upon the most prestigious cardiologist who also happened to be weir; a wizard to be exact. Her name: Dr. Jessamine Longbranch. She came off as a trustworthy person but once she was done with the surgery that assumption was quickly revised.
Longbranch was to give Jack a Wizard Weir stone because that was he was to be initially but Longbranch instead -as a part of some experiment- gave Jack a Warrior Weir stone. When the secret of revealed the damage and miracle had already been done and there was no going back.
Jackson's mother [who is anawier and knows nothing of the weir stone] was given a thick brown medicine* that Jack would have to take for the rest of his life keep his self healthy and with that Longbranch left the Swifts in peace.
Sixteen years later Jackson is just an ordinary teenager. He doesn't know of his power of of what happened to him really. He knew of the surgery and he knew of Dr. Longbranch who seemed like the saint of the story.
However one day Jackson forgets to take his medicine and the results are anything but catastrophic. His felt light on his feet, unusually sharp and everything a keen primitive edge. But upon returning home he is made to take his medicine and his mood take a dive in the opposite direction...
*Weirsbane.
It suppressed weir powers and even the growth that comes with it.
Example:
Warrior: Physical strength and muscle.
Enchantor: No extraordinary beauty
Soothsayer: No visions.
S t o r y
Dr. Longbranch has gone too far. She's been the cause behind bazaar prison escapes, murder and kidnappings. It seems that Sussanah's threat of rising the dragon once more was simply that, a threat. There was no promise behind it. In her last visit to the human world in the Raven's Ghyll she'd left to pass to the next world where she could no longer reach out to help the weir. She thought the message she'd left behind was enough to scare Longbranch into submission, but that was not the case. Jessamine was not a woman to lie down and take a defeat.
The media today has glamourised the murders and kidnappings as a direct result of the prison breaks but no one could make the connection, no one except for maybe a trained weir. The key, or signature to each murder was that each child or adult was impaled through the heart. And what would raise the alarm, for those able to catch it, is the fact that.. the weir stone, the very source of a weir's power is kept behind the heart. And if one contemplated this, they would find that history is repeating itself at a rapid rate.
What would scare them more is that these murders are carried out throughout the United States, targeting those that have no ties to each other. A woman in California, a child in new york.. there was no way to tell which way their attacking from.
But what seems to be more frightening is the kidnappings. Infants would be slipped out of intensive care in the hospital, under constant watch. No video tape left behind, no recollection of a foreign intruder. We are on high alert, except for one state..
Jessemine has recently landed in Houston, Texas one of the cities in the United States that seem to have a relatively high level magic release. She has yet to find any suitable but she has planted spies everywhere to notify her when an individual suddenly 'qualifies'*.
Besides weir Longbranch has gotten the help of a few elementals. The race is nearly gone but if a weir were to breed with an elemental what would the child's power be like?
This is another one of Longbranch's sinister experiments. Both boy and girl elementals have also been planted around town with the help of a talented enchanter. They seem to be the most beautiful group around.
So, You need to decide whether you'll start to care and defend the ones you love or you'll stay in the dark about your power and deny the strange look you get from that beautiful girl or boy in class.
Will you submit to Jessamine or stay true to your friends and fight to the end?
Now that is a question that I can't wait to answer.
*A weir does not have their power allof their life. The 'activation' ,if you will, of their stone usually happens around the age of twelve or thirteen. You got it: puberty.
A weir family usually tells the children of their powerhoweve if both parents are anaweir then the child is stuck without knowig what's going on.

Masters of mind magic. Ability to charm and influence, create emotion, love and passion. Not easily identifiable by wizards even when their power is brought to bear. Can change appearance in the eyes of others to enhance their appeal. Some wizards can put up defenses to avoid being overcome by enchanters. Can take a wizard unaware, sometimes can even influence or persuade an aware wizard. Many enchanters align with a wizard sponsor or Guarantor for protection.
W i z a r d s
Most powerful of the Weir because of their ability to use High Magic and charms, and their ability to control and influence other people through mind magic. Wizards are very long-lived, and have long memories. Ability to use power over distance. Charms shape and control power and allow its sophisticated application. Can put up barriers, immobilize people. Have limited ability to heal injuries, particularly those caused by magic (use counterspells). Power varies among wizards, depending on training and genetics. Untrained wizards “leak” magic, causing bizarre events, and cannot put it to good use. Trained wizards can generally recognize each other through a kind of aura, although use of power is the most distinct sign of a stone. The touch of a wizard has an electrical quality.
Wizards who choose to involve themselves in the Anaweir world are often powerful politicians or very wealthy businesspeople because they can influence others so easily. They have to devote very little time to making a living, so have considerable time for Weir politics and intrigue. Wizards are even more powerful vis a vis the Anaweir than in relation to the other magical Guilds.
S o o t h s a y e r s
Can predict the future in a limited way, although prophesy is often confusing. has more than one branch. Known as Wise Counselors. Wizards often keep seers as advisors. Thought of as trickY by wizards. Prophesy is always true, but often misleading.
S o r c e r e r s
A Weir guild that works with materials, poisons, potions, fabric, amulets. No spoken charms or through-the-air magic. Specialize in small magics, for everyday use. Unable to influence others except through materials. Perform some healing through use of herbs, hands-on treatment. Affinity for gardens and animals.
W a r r i o r s
Powers are primarily physical (no mind magic involved). Can overcome wizards in a physical fight, but usually controlled by wizards through mind magic.
A n a w e i r
Anaweir are regular common people. They have no magical powers and are somtimes the victims of weir. Sometimes held in disdain by the Weir. Have difficulty resisting any member of the Weir, but especially wizards. Wizards often exploit their power over others.
• T e r m s W e i r
A family of people with magical powers with roots in Anglo-Saxon Britain. All carry stones or crystals behind their hearts. The stone is s repository of memory and power. If the stone is removed, the Weir will die. According to legend, the stones of power were originally taken from the Weirstone, a crystal outcropping in Raven’s Ghyll in Cumbria, England.
The gift is passed down through families, but not all inherit the stone, and some families are mixed, particularly in America. A family of Weir came to America in the 1600’s to escape the bloodshed in Europe. They later adopted the sigil of the Silver Bear. Many of the Weir in America are unaware that they carry the gift. Wizards have established genealogical databases to track and locate unaware Weir. Powers can be suppressed through the use of certain potions and preparations and are not effective in consecrated buildings such as churches.
Powers are not influenced by gender; men and women can inherit any of the stones and so belong to any of the guilds.
W e i r b o o k
A magical and genealogical record book. Each member of the Weir has one. Traditionally, the book is commissioned from the Sorcerer’s Guild by the child’s parents, using the family Weirbook as a template. Where blood is mixed, the nearest Weir relation stands as godparent. Includes the specific genealogy of the child. Gifted heirs are indicated in the genealogy by the color codings above.

• Q u e s t i o n s Dr. Jessamine is turning kids who are born without Weirstones into...warriors?I'm sorry if I did not explain it well enough before but what I was trying to say was since Jack was a big success Dr. Longbranch is experimenting with other stones.
As in
Natrural: Soothsayer
After operation: Soothsayer/ Sorcerers.Everyone is born with a Weirstone, including anaweirs?No. They don't have stones.How do they know if they got the wrong one? They dont. In the story Linda only knew Jessamine gave Jack the wrong stone because Jessamine told her. And Jessamine knew Jackson needed a wizard stone because Linda was the one who found her and told her so. Linda, just by looking at him could tell something was wrong with him but didn't neccesarily know he had the wrong stone.

For instance your at school and you suddenly start to take on the role of maybe a teacher or a friend but you don't feel like keeping up with them as far as their life would go. So I'll list the NPC's here and put who they are and who introduced them into the thread.
You have to send me a form, though. This is how it works:
