I thought about areas that everyone would visit when starting and ending play, and thus chose this song.
Its arrangement came together in a smooth and lovely way. It conveys the remarkable Pikmin world. It’s nice.(Buster edit: I stickied this)

I cannot find the original song on the internet. I still like it, though. Pikmin doesn't have many action-packed songs. Most are just calm and relaxing, and they fit Pikmin well.

I love this song and even if it isn't "battle themed" picture it playing in Distant Plane, even in a battle, it still fits.
