Background: The son of a merchant, Basa's family has experienced many up and downs when it comes to finances. As such, he has learned about the resources around him and when to sell at a higher price and when lowering the price of merchandise would be better. Despite this extremely shrewd side of him, Basa seems like a serious idiot in front of many people. He loves the beach of Mercunias and lives with his mother when his father is traveling from place to place without him. During the summer months up north, Basa will leave Mercunias with his father to watch the sales.
During all other times of the year, Basa hangs out, and leads, Ran, Shorn, and Higis. He met Ran and Shorn before he met Higis but tends to treat Higis in a more playful manner, though most people would tend to disagree. When he's not hanging out with his friends on the beach, he's messing around with his donus in much the same manner as he would with his friends. His favorite things to do are: hanging out, playing beach sports, and selling things.
Personality: Though he's cocky and bad mouthed, Basa is actually a very kind-hearted person. Of course, he would never admit that he has kind-heart and treats many people roughly to hide his personality. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and anyone who dares to mess with one of his friends tends to get the snot beaten out of them when Basa finds them.

Fighting Bio: Basa is a fighter and has a large amount of strength and endurance. He doesn't fight with a weapon and tends to use his fists as the main weapon though he's not afraid to kick or even headbutt. What he lacks however, is dodging ability. If he gets into a fight he spends no time trying to not get hurt. As long as he hurts the other person more, he's won the fight.

Background: Shorn was born in a group of slaves and numbered 34 of the Ilkay family's slaves. Since he was born close to the date that Ran was, he was given to the boy as a personal servant. Ran was the one who named Shorn but the two were children, which is why the name makes no sense for the most part. He was treated much better than the slaves that were not charged with taking care of Ran. He has thought many times of running away from the house on his own, but when Ran found out about the plans once, he was promised that when Ran inherited the house and all of its possessions, he would set all of the slaves free.
While he does not hate Ran, he does not like the teen at the same level that Ran likes him. He feels as though the other male feels sorry for him and is doing such things out of regret. These things are not voiced however. Shorn does consider Ran a kind person and likes hanging out with him, Basa, and Higis.
Personality: Shorn is very quiet and hardly talks so most of his personality is unknown. He only speaks as much as he needs to. He is, however, supposedly a bit masochistic and submissive.

Fighting Bio: Shorn hates fighting and does not fight, period. Even if he's somehow dragged into the fight, he will merely take all the hits without doing anything.

Background: Ran is the son and heir of the Ilkay family, despite having an older brother. As such, he is expected to do his best in whatever he decides to pursue. Also, he is to marry someone of noble blood, though he hasn't chosen any yet. His brother was disowned because he ran off with one of the slaves that were owned by the family. The whereabouts of the older brother are unknown currently though the family did not look very hard.
Despite knowing all of the pressure that's on him, Ran is fairly content with how he is leading his life and treats the slaves a lot better than his parents. Amongst his favorite is his personal slave, number 34 (otherwise known as Shorn). Despite calling Shorn one of his best friends, he is unsure whether Shorn follows him around because he asks or if it's of the young man's own free will. Like the rest of the group, he is a fairly intelligent person though it doesn't always shine through completely.
Personality: Ran has a very serene personality and comes off as the "chick magnet" of the group. Though his personality is quite popular with females, he's an overall nice guy and gets along with guys as well. However, Ran has never seen eye to eye with his father, who has a very rigid and traditional viewpoint. He is constantly getting into verbal fights with the man and is rarely on the island where he lives. He would much rather prefer to hang out on the beach and with his friends.

Fighting Bio: Ran will fight if he has to but he prefers to talk things about before hand. Unlike Basa, Ran's attacks are based upon his dodging and counterattacking ability. As such, Ran is rarely hit in a serious fight. His fencing ability is said to be unparalleled.

Other: Ran has been betrothed to someone on 14 different occasions because of his parents. Since meeting Basa and Higis, Ran tends to live in one of the inn rooms at Sweet Breeze when he feels he can't/shouldn't go home.

Name: Higis Maungroq (sounds like Man [long a] and a frog's croak)

Height: 4'6"
Background: Son of the Sweet Breeze inn's owner, Higis has never left the beaches of Mercunias. Though he's the youngest person to hang out with Basa, he's the shrewdest and is always looking for ways to get out of paying for anything. He is perhaps the one closest to Basa as well. The two act more like illegitimate brothers instead of friends at times, which is fine with his family. If any one of his friends need somewhere to stay, Higis' family is willing to let them stay as long as they work for the room.
Higis is the only person within the group, aside from Shorn (but he doesn't count), to not have ever been engaged to anyone. He keeps saying that he doesn't want to get married, but that may be because he wants to freely look at other women. Though he's the youngest and most innocent looking out of the group, he's the most perverted, mentally. Despite his perversion, he's completely straight-laced when it comes to the law and would never do anything to step a toe out of line. It is also because of his feelings for the law that he hates anyone who would break or corrupt the law.
Personality: A sweet but childish personality, Higis is always full of energy and no one has actually seen him look worn out. If the boy wears himself out though, he tends to be neurotic and passes out on the spot. He is also constantly eating things high in fat and calories to help keep up his active lifestyle. He's easily excitable and tends to find the funnier things in most of life. He does not, however, like being called "short," "a kid," or "stupid." Most of the time, it's Basa who says these jokingly so it's usually not a problem.

Fighting Bio: Higis is not very strong and does not have much endurance so he sucks at fighting, though he throws lucky punches every once in a while. He does not know how to use a weapon. Because of his personality though, he tends to not get into a lot of fights (at least seriously).

Bio: Beau was born between a succubus and a young Englishman priest. As a succubus, his mother drained his father completely of all his energy, killing him in the process. Like most Cambion, he appeared to be a still born birth and was to have no pulse or breath until 7 years of age, but even now, Beau has absolutely no pulse, his heart does not beat, and his breath is ice cold. He, as with many others of his kind (succubae, incubi, and other cambions), believe that he shall receive these human normalities when he comes to the age of a man. Though he is 15 years of age, he looks at least a couple years older than he really is.
Since Beau is the offspring of a seducing demon, he is amazingly attractive and he has very sharp wits about him. He, like other cambions, is very manipulative and often has others do his work for him. He has slightly larger canines, similar to a vampire’s, but they do not work in the same way a vampire’s does. He does not eat physical food at all; instead, taking small bits of energy when he kisses a person. Since he consumes energy from multiple sources, Beau will take energy from almost any that he wishes, making him seem bi. He’s straight, but he does kiss the male gender, usually kissing them longer and sapping so much energy that they are unable to stand without support.

Bio: In his past life, Iahn was the third crown prince in his homeland of Egypt, but that time has long since passed. His first death came too soon, dying from a plague that swept the Upper Kingdom at the age of 17. How long he had stayed asleep in his tomb, he would never be able to say, but when he rose once more, he had found that tomb bandits had raided his new home-- though they had long since left the tomb. However, this made his escape outside of the tomb much easier and though he was free, Iahn was left to wander the desert aimlessly for many years.
Even after the dead prince had finally found civilization, it wasn't as though he could stay in a single place for an extended amount of time and for centuries he has been wandering around the world-- feeling the need to remain within the world and lifestyle of humans. His wandering has made him somewhat knowledgeable of the world and he has several languages mastered. The weariness of his constant traveling, however, led him to accept the invitation to settle at Rosewood for the moment, and though he has been admitted as an 11th grade student, this is his first year at Rosewood. It seems as though he is using the school as a test to see which world he wishes to belong to: the open world of humans or the hidden world of the more supernatural.
Personality: Iahn is extremely level-headed and tries to solve every problem he has with logic-- though not all of his problems can be solved this way. Though he tries to act calm and aloof, he still has his princely stubbornness and pride. Instead of compromising, he normally tries to trick those into thinking that a compromise is being made. He has a habit of treating people with less intelligence than himself a little lower-- though he does try to hide it somewhat. He is also very particular about appearance.

Other: Species Info: The Osiris race is similar to that of mummies with several key differences. The first, and perhaps most defining, difference is that they do not decay with time-- leaving their body in the same condition as when they had first died. The second is their capacity for magic, being able to cast spells without the need for scrolls that have magic sealed within them. Unlike mummies, who could be revived from the bodies of guards and even commoners, the Osiris have only been known to appear from royal bloodlines. The final difference is that they are somewhat harder to kill than mummies and only truly die when attacked with a high level holy spell. Despite this resistance to a "second death," the Osiris species can easily be hindered from attacks with many different spells and physical attacks. They can be hacked to pieces and be forced to lay in one spot for days until pieces come back together, or be hindered with magic (such as being frozen until the ice melts or burned heavily and having to regenerate their bodies from nothing but bones.) It is also because of their high resistance to death that they became known as a god by the ancient Egyptians.
Magic Info: Life magic is a specific subelement of the element "Earth." Casters of this type of magic are often allured to the subelement in order to revive those once dead; however, this magic does not give back life to those who have already died. Instead, it can create life from nature, often making flowers and trees appear from nowhere. The more advanced users can use this magic to create animals from inanimate objects or allow inanimate objects move on their own. Despite the appearance of their own life, these created objects will only move on the commands of the caster and will instantly revert to their old form the instant the caster loses control or stops the spell. It is only through this method that those wishing to revive the dead (without a living consciousness inhabiting it) can make their wish come true, and when they do "revive" the dead, the body does not have a consciousness of its own and only acts in accordance of what the caster commands.

Bio: Enlir was born just after the Mesopotamian period near the banks of the Tiber River. Since then he has gained a great deal of experience and is capable of blending in with the people of the current times. He would be the first to admit, however, that he found the era that he first grew up in to be more desirable than the far more corrupt era of the present.
Though he prefers to stay within the regions of his homeland, he has been known to travel from time to time and has even been captured a couple of times by people outside of his race. Obviously, he has been able to escape the clutches of those who would seek to shackle him, but it has left him rather wary of others.
In the present era-- and in past eras as well-- Enlir works as whatever he pleases and tends to work at underground cabarets wherever he happens to be. He has become accustomed to doing as he wished when he wished, and if he happens to not want to do what he's ordered to do then he won't do it 99.9% of the time.
