Is everyone excited for Silent Hill 5?
I loved 1,2, and 3 but I did not really like 4. I hope 5 will be more like 2.

You bet your a** I am! I think it's September OR October of this year. I thought it was one of those months last year and was soooo psyched then realized it was of '08.
But, yes, I hope it's like the second or the 4th wasn't bad.
I'm a little weary because it is made by an American team.
BUT BUT BUT
the good news is that Akira Yamaoka the producer of the Silent Hill soundtrack is supervising the whole project. So, I would imagine that the 5th one won't roam to far from what Silent Hill is supposed to be like.
In other words...I'M REALLY,REALLY EXCITED!

I was really unhappy with silent hill 5. I was particularly upset about pyramid head being in the game. Apart from the fact that many people see him as a representation of james' agressiveness and sexual desires (which means he belongs in silent hill 2 and not in just any other game), they did the pyramid head wrong. C'mon! It's supposed to be a triangular pentahedron, not a true pyramid!
Other than that, the new combat system sucks (Silent hill has never been about complexity and difficulty in terms of fighting!), The new puzzles sucked, the graphics (at least in terms of this generation) sucked, and there were a bunch of clipping problems that I ran into.
And I tried so hard to have hope for this game. sad

I have a silent hill theme'd profile if anyone wants to look 2. silent hill 2 is my favorite 3. SH5 monsters are extremely creepy

i love silent hill 5 ive beaten it like 4 times.plus i never liked s h 4 it got very confusing cuz the puzzles

acctually i felt the same way at first but now i realize PH in 5 reperesnts *spoiler* (highlight to read) Alexes guilt for killing his little brother and its shaped differently because alex had no or little knowledge of the silent hill religion as james did 3nodding
