Oh goodie! You know, since I am a guy, I can't be an aunt but, a half sister of mine got pregnant a while back. Since she lives (or used to live, I'm not sure) with my dad, I don't see her at all but at least I know I'll either be or am, an uncle. rolleyes

Yeap! Not only that, my cousin Oscar (he's the son of my aunt and shes my only real aunt) and his wife had their first born about a year and a half ago so, I guess I've been sort of an uncle since that time, he-he. rolleyes
And now a bit of humor: Since yer an aunt, do you know what kind you are? A worker aunt, a warrior aunt or even a queen aunt? Ha-ha! rofl Maybe I've been watching too many bug movies (A Bug's Life, Antz)... mrgreen

Crochet a pretty white baby blanket!
(I am thoroughly looking forward to my boyfriends brother is getting married soon so that in the next few years I get to have a niece/nephew to make stuff for.)

I used to know how to crochet - Now I mostly sew.... My sister wants a Sesame Street Theme - but no Elmo. I think she wants old school Sesame Street stuff... which is fine with me!
- If I could choose the colors - I'd choose something ridiculous - on purpose... mostly cause it's not my baby. rofl *shrug*

I love being an aunt, myself! Best thing is, I get to wind up my nephew and then give him back.

That's great Fauxlorne, sometimes the best presents are the ones you make yerself. 3nodding
Yes! My cousin says the same thing. Since her brother is the one with the baby, she only gets to take care of her for a while and then she gives her back to her daddy. mrgreen

I plan on investing in loud toys - muscial intruments and the like - all to gift this child. Plus - - *oh Auntie! Can I have this candy bar?!* - - - *only if you eat it just before your mommy comes to pick you up.*
twisted <- this is going to be *SO* fun!

Well, just as long as you don't spoil her silly. I hope you can deal with things in a fun, yet responsible way. BTW, if you joined the army, you'd be an "Army Aunt", he-he. I'm so silly, aren't I? lol
