Well, after giving this some thought and hearing from a few of you that want to rp but have little to no experience yet, I decided to make this thread to help out. But first off, this is mainly for sign ups; I'll put up individual threads in this subforum if no one minds for the mock rps after some few sign up. For anyone that has quite a bit of experience and would like to help me out, please give me a PM with the subject 'Mock Roleplay'.
For those of you who would like to learn, just post here to sign up and I'll put you on the list. Also, please let me know your preference, whether you'd like to rp with me one-on-one, or if you don't mind working with a whole group. I think that should make things a bit easier. ^_^ Once I get some people, then I'll come up with a small storyline and the general rules. But also, since I'm at college, I may not be able to come in as often to mock roleplay, but I'll do my best to work with those of you who are interested.

Basically, in one-on-one RPs, it's just paying attention to one person, whether it be in a forum or in PM's. As for group RP's, everyone's characters are interacting with eachother and not just one person (given all of the characters are in the same room.) Oi, I'd post some examples right now, but I'm rather tired since it's 5:52AM for me xp I need sleep. If you need some examples, I suggest every now and then to lurk (watch, no need to really post if you don't want to) at this thread. Reading through some of everyone's posts there should give you a good idea on what a group RP is like. Especially Sirea Angelie's, Raye Leonardo TMNT's, Shadow Shady's, Nightwing Xavier's, Werewolfsiofra's, and Shimakura's posts, just a few names for ya to keep an eye on and watch how they RP and respond to eachother ^^ Protect my friends, forevermore...

I was barely awake when I started typing it, so I wasn't sure if it was going to be all that helpful or not in the end. Anyways, I'm thinking about signing up as a helper, though, I'm not really great with teaching >.>; I'd probably just be able to help by RPing and the people who need help just watching the RP. sweatdrop Protect my friends, forevermore...

I will, through times of peace and days of war... Rawr, after some thought, I've decided to go ahead and sign up for group RPing. I think we could use the Mock RP as a way to introduce our characters and if needed, explain how they came to be in the Nanoha world (with how there are different dimensions and whatnot in the anime) Protect my friends, forevermore...

True. I think I'll make more than one group mock rp since Zeek's given me an idea to use for one as well. I'll try to put them up sometime this weekend hopefully. And if anyone else has ideas for storylines they would like to see in mock roleplay, feel free to suggest some here as well. I don't think it should be limited to just one thread anyways ^_^
