I'm just wondering if anyone is still coming to visit the guild. I seem to be the last person who has posted on most of the threads.

Hi there! This is my fourth time visiting since I found this guild two days ago... I asked to join, and now I'm just waiting to see if I'll be accepted. *Sigh* Seems like a great guild, though!! biggrin

Good day,
I pass through here from time to time, on my way from some place to another, and it does seem awfully quiet. Sad, but true...

Well apparently now it's my turn. I'm the last post pretty much everywhere. Kudos to kettch for keeping the conversation running, but where did everyone else go?
It's the Christmas shopping season, innit? Oh no, wait, I'm too old to think correctly - it's around the time people really start banging away at their term papers. It's all clear to me now!
Well, this is my chance to brag, then: I'm not in school anymore, and I've already finished my Christmas shopping! Bwahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!

Retail work, eh? I dodged that bullet, too. Instead got a lot of admin work answering phones and being condescended at. To this day, I consider the phrase "enjoys working with people" to be some sort of obscene invective. I do acupuncture now, which means that when I answer my phone whoever is calling is polite and values my opinion. Well, for the most part anyway. And no one can complain to my supervisor because that's me as well.

Personally, I hate people. Unfortunately, I'm good with them. Working in retail SUCKS! But it could be worse. I at lest do not work for Wal-Mart. Ahhahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!!! "Multiple exclamation mark are a sign of a sick mind."

Strewth!
I do my best to remember all the horror stories of my friends anytime I'm in a store, so that I'm not being the Bad Customer to some other poor sap.

Did I say I work in a game shop? A small one, where we have ques going out the door at christmas time and customers who refuse to do things until you get the manager to chat to them?

Still alive then, all our retail workers? Not trampled to death by stampeding shoppers or garroted by testy old women with umbrellas?

I'm still alive despite being trampled. Ah, the beauty of wearing combat boots to work smile
