So once we start getting more members into the guild, I hope to open up a few more possibilities and activities for people. The thing I want to get started ASAP is a Contest.
Each month, I want to have a contest where you can win whatever people have donated to the guild or a certain amount of money (to be determined later) if your creation gets the most votes.
It would be by theme so maybe one month, the theme would be Hats! Or maybe Handbags! You catch my drift? And then there would be a week where I display the finished (or maybe not even finished) projects and members get to vote on their favorite.
That is just one idea I've got brewing in my head. Does it sound like something you'd participate in? I've got plenty more things in store as we build up our member list so lets try to recruit as many fun and friendly people as we can! (:

SouthOfNeptune and I are also planning on working together in the near future to upload some videos to youtube.com showing different techniques of casting on and knitting.
Naturally, the links to the video will be posted to the guild forums so that all of our members can take a look. ♥
