I'm currently working on a sock. Maybe I'll actually complete it seeing as how I've never completed a project of mine. In half a day I learned how to purl, knit together, Yarn Over, Pick up stitches, Drop stitches, fix twisted stitches, and partially read patterns.

It was intense. And not that hard which was weird considering that all I ever knew how to do was plain old knitting. SO!

My sock! I don't have a picture of it yet but I promise to post one soon. I think it's coming along very nicely even though it is rather large looking. Meh. We'll see.

Now, obviously the webcam can't pick up the actual color of my sock.
Unfortunately, I haven't been home in days so I'm not sure when I'll get my hands on a regular digi cam.
Anyway. That is basically my over-sized sock (:

This is the color (basically) of the sock because I ended up driving home at midnight to steal the digital camera. Go me. I am awesome.

Wow, you are brave to do socks and with 3 needles!! I've only done scarves and dishcloths. Hope you finish them.
They look great so far.

You kidding?! I wish it was cable D:!!!! I have no idea how to cable, really. I understand what I should do but actually doing it... beyond me.

This was actually k3, p3 for three rounds. Then YO, K3Tog, YO, P3 and repeat for one round. And then start over.

The knitting three together gives the illusion of a fancy cable but alas. My knitting skills are not that amazing yet. I say all that like I'd be able to tell the difference between cables and knit-togethers - not one bit. SouthOfNeptune told me all this stuff when she was teaching me this sock pattern xD
