Fallen Poetry Angel

PostPosted: Fri Jan 11, 2008 9:11 pm

A sadened smile, a creasing frown
no easy way, to get down
A large builging, down the hill
no way to get, your heart's fill..

A heart broken but now fallen
Lost from death a smile is broken
a gravestone creased with words of lost love
loves death begins when you see the flying dove

Silence sits over this smoky old town
A bar full of fools who drown
(chase fears away with water brown)
Troubled lives led without a sound
Burned at both ends and driven into ground.

The heart aches
feeling so bare
Gone with the wind
the everlasting care

footsteps still linger here and there
But in the end no one cares...
The dust it's thicker in this town
Let our memories be buried in this ashen ground

The night shines on
Like the never ending song
This town will live forever more
Until the day on which they close the door

The steps echo louder
as the boots hit the floor
The shadows grow darker
as the stand at the door.

I feel my heart race
My blood pressure rise
I look for your face
as if it will fall from the skies

and you're allowed
to enter this
rusted old town
You walk in with your usual grace
Perfect posture and smiling face
And as you run over as if in a race
I sink in to your ever warm embrace.
