Where'd you hear that? I thought VIZ said that they'd be showing Shippuuden around August '09...
But if they didn't end up dubbing it I'd cry... No official DVDs with english subs. crying

Ah yes I will fix this claim one if you desire english dubed shippuden you may see it on youtube.com it seems to also have great graphic but this is just an assumtion most anime never reach a secual and I have a guess that naruto will end as quickly as it start other anime will be coming in the same time as shippuden so it might be possible for naruto to be cut

and....yes....I saw itachi's death. I don't know what the snakes were but Sasuke does stab him. . .it all could still be a jutsu though

Yeah....the second season of FMA advertizements is just for buying the first season..
I emailed Vic Mignoga and asked him about it.
I figured He's the voice of Ed...of all people he should know.

^^ if my calulations are correct....or close enough to correct Shippuden should be here by the end of this summer!!!! Most likely they'll put parental warnings up like they did once already!!! whee yay akatsuki !!!! *cough* sasori *cough*
