I'm a Linebreaker. I carry a large hammer and a tower sheild and my only perpose is to charge the enemy's lines.
Anyone else?

In Narina we encourage all of our fighters to be profitiant in as many styles as possable.
I am primaraly a Front Line Shield Fighter. I fight with a sword (blue) and shield, sometimes with a Javalin as well. On a bridge battle it's my job to hold the line with my fellow shield fighters and push the other line if able. In a large battle, I and my fellow shield fighter make it our job to brake the other line.
I also used to fight second line missles, I had a basket of 42 rocks and Javalins. I would harry the opposition with my rocks, to keep them busy while my fellow fighters would take them out.

As a florentine fighter I flank and distract the enemy from my stealthy friends. *shifty eyes* In smaller battles I sword and board. Although I do fight, most the time I chose to herald and photograph, I love running battles or atleast being a rez point. mrgreen

I'm fairly new to dagorhir, but as Mirelle mentioned, in Narnia we're encouraged to learn many fighting styles.
I started by learning flourntine, because I like to use two swords no matter what I'm involved in. I did a little traning with sword and board, and while I wouldn't say I'm comfortable with it, that's because I don't like it much and not because I'm bad with it.
I recently starting fighting with a spear and I've gotten a number of comments on how good I am with it, both open feild and bridge. I'm hoping to learn archery when I get the chance as well, and maybe red

I switch between arching and fighting with a medium-smallish shield and sword. As Kalis says, my job is to shoot things. In large battles and on bridges, while arching, I like standing behind the lines, popping up, and picking off reds and spears. I don't have good enough vision to shoot accurately beyond a certain range, so, say, taking out flankers from a distance is a lot harder.
I haven't quite found my place with sword and board, so far. Not a front line fighter, but not yet a flanker, either. I suppose knowledge of where I fit will come with time.

I fight sword and board, and prefer to be in the front line. Although I'll do pretty much whatever i need to, thats usually where I need to be smile . I've been meaning to actually pick up arching, and have followed in Mirelle's footsteps and begun to make rocks (Thank You Badon Hill II).

I've heard my style called "squish-em"... It all depends on my weapon set
When I florentine, I'm typically a flanker. I have enough speed to really get around the outside, and have been known to cause lots of damage if unchekced.
Oddly enough, I tend to flank with my Red sword too. In this role, I tend to chop people's legs out from under them (as I'm sure some Narnians will attest to).
Then there's my shield... 25 lbs of grey barn door. Works well with a mace.
I do have a short spear, and I am proficient with Javs as well. All I need is a bow and I'll become the universal soldier

All of us here in my unit in California (Central Cali, XCU) are quite skilled archers so we can all arch.
I can also be pretty good with most Reds that are shorter than six feet and florentine. Most of the time Florentine.
No good with shields.

In large battles, I flank and wreak havoc inside the enemy line. In smaller battles, I use a naginata (red/green glaive). I don't want to use sword-n-board because I'm not a line fighter. I would like to learn to arch effectively, though.
