You guys have to read it Lisa Smedman is such a better writer then I gave her credit for. The second book in the lady Penitent Trilogy completely makes up for the first it flows so much better the story is flowing and compelling and it draws you in. I all ready had a vast knowledge of the drow that I was proud of to say the least but I learned so much more from this book and I loved it. I zipped through the book in two days and I cant wait to read it again.

I had a religious moment toward then end even more powerful then the one I had when Halisstra found the masked lady her first time around.

lol Of the Drow Gods and Goddess, I still have to favor Lolth, she is just so evil and wicked in just the right amount of ways, and yes. The second book in this series is so much better than the first. There was a bit of a strange thing in the first though, when the crescent blade was used to kill Lolth's champion, it read that she sliced his head off with one swing, but the blade could not have done such a thing when he was ******** huge, and his neck was about as big around as a house. Other than that , I loved Storm of the DeadX3

It was just so well written it's like she just grew as a writer by leaps and bounds. It was a page turner and I really loved learning about the drows past.
