My favorite dance is swing! I also like ballroom and I might start taking salsa soon. What's your favorite?

out of the dances I've done I enjoy hip hop because it's challenging

I'd have to say swing. It's fast, sometimes cheesy (in a good way), and fun! We did it in PE and I didn't want to stop!

hip hop because it;s easy to just let loose, but I like formal dancing (like ballroom) too.

I enjoy Tap the most because that is what I'm used to doing! But I would like to learn hip-Hop cause I know that is my kinda dancing! I wouldn't mind learning all the others either mrgreen

Ballet is my favourite now because it's so much fun when you can dance on point and when you get to the higher grades everything is dancy.
I do however really enjoy tap, i love to iprovise and I love the syle of music that would normally be danced to.

I'd really like to learn tap and swing. Swing just looks like so much fun (well, so does tap), and tap seems like it's used quite often in shows, and like it's a really good skill to have.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing....

Eleanor Storme What kind of dancing is swing? is it the kind of sinatra type music or am thinking of something different? It's like Cherry poppin daddys (terrible name sweatdrop ) Zoot Suit Riot. Or the chips ahoy theme *slaps herself for using the chip ahoy theme as a reference to sing sing sing* I just took my first salsa class last night...urgh. Gonna have much more fun at swing tonight, I'm sure. Worst thing is I did Salsa right after soccer practice for 2 and a half hours...my feet hurt so bad. gonk

Yup. Lots a fun. I think I would really like to try tap. It seems fun and would probably come in handy for some play or another.
