Irondino and I will be using this thread to test out Poffin mixing so I can finally add it to the RP Basics thread and get started on figuring out contests! No other posters please xp I'll delete this thread when we're all done.

Alright? I'll start this off.
*Walks up to the mixer and rummages in bag searching for a berry to use before pulling out a Cheri berry and dropping it into the dough.*

*After moulding the Cheri Berry into the dough I pause.* "Hmm, I think with a Cheri berry I'll try and make SPicy Poffin." *I take out some various and add them to the mix.*

*I spin the around repepetativly, mixing the dough to spread the flavor evenly however, I accidently spill some of it. I then turn the heat on and continue spinning, but it starts to smoke, evident that I'm not spinning fast enough. Soon it's cooked. I take it out of the dish and inspect it.* "Not that good....only a level 4 Spicy Poffin. I'll have to try again with someone else."

Ah, I see how this goes...so it's a LV4 poffin because 3+5=8 then divided by 2 = 4! Sweet...
Since this takes alot of posts (with the generating numbers and all) I should probably make an actual thread for those who want to make poffin to post like this in.

Two posts and a result. And you could still incorporate other RP actions into the first and last posts.
You wanna do the two person one now? I'll make a post then you join in?

Sure, seeing as how that one sounds more complicated. I'm still not entirely sure how we're going to add all our numbers together...

"Alright then, lets try this one more time..." *I look around for someone to help me out in working the Bread Maker while I rummage in my bag for another berry. Spotting you I call out to you.* "Hey there, could you help me out with working this Bread Maker?" *I pull out a Tamato Berry and rest it on the table.*
EDIT: Oh my dear, a 4? Well, even good berries still can be bad.

(Kay, so I add a berry too right? Let's see...would a Magost berry work? I'm just picking randomly. I suppose for the sake of this thread, I'll make my RP format the same as yours)
"Sure," *I walk over and take out a berry from my own bag. "I've got a Magost berry to add." *I rest my berry on the table as well.*
EDIT:
Ooh a 16! Big number!

(Yep, a Magost will be fine. Luckily your 16 will balance out my 4.)
"Alright then, I'm going to try make another Spicy Poffin''." *I put the berry into the bread and knead it in.* "...so I'll add cinnimon to the mix." *I add some of the spice and put it on the main mixer.*
(Obviously you're going to have to figure out what you're going to do in your first post so you can make the appropiate numbers. Or you could always just make it a single roll and not divide anything...)
Edit: My rolls suck...

(I like the dividing though, because it seems like it will take into consideration both the berry and cooking portions of poffin-making. I think it's more realistic this way. Oh, and this is the part where I get confused. Because now, we're making 2 different kinds of poffin. Yours is spicy while mine is sweet. I still did the post action, but can I edit this post after you explain this part to me?)

(Alright, those parts can be kept but this next part doesn't really make as much sense as it should. Anyway, first you calculated the result. Total all the numbers, then divide by two. So, 37/2=18.5 rounded up to 19. We each then get a Poffin of our chosen flavors. So I'd get a 'level' 20 Spicy Poffin, and you'd get a 20 Sweet Poffin.)

Oh, so did we round 19 up to the next multiple of 5 or something like that? Because I know the berrydex has it so that berries' levels are like 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, etc...Well if that's all there was to it, then it's actually pretty simple. It may not make sense cooking-wise (since you shouldn't get two completely different poffin, but rather one spicy and dry poffin), but I could care less about that... sweatdrop

Or to make it even easier, if the total is an odd number you just add 1, then divide. But yeah, that cooking thing is odd, but that's how the game goes, right?

It is...well, I guess I get it now then. I'll leave this thread up for a while so that I can refer back to it when typing everything up in the Basics thread. Thanks for your help! This is one less thing out of the way!
