Matt and I are finally moving into our own place! We get the keys today and sign the lease. It's still in The Meadows, but we're moving into a studio. It's a little costly at a little under $1200, BUT I rather pay a little more to live in a nicer area instead of moving to Inglewood or somewhere around there, or next to the Section 8 house that is filled with Mexicans. Plus, we get a parking spot, pools, dry cleaners, on-site washer/dryer, a gym, tennis courts, and it's gated. Plus they threw events often with free food! whee
Our new place is on the 2nd floor and towards the back, so no annoying street noise and ghetto talk of all hours. Plus no more loud at all hours, day and night, people above us.
The greatest part of all though is no more roommates! I don't know where to even begin with all the shitty roommates I've had. With in the past 3 years in the 3 apartments I've lived in, I've gone threw... 11. Of course not all of them were bad, but the ones that were cool are less then a handful.
Anyways, I'm just excited about the move and no one has really been posting. cry SO I thought I'd share that news!

Ah moving. It was a lot more fun when I had a lot less stuff. I move again and I'm just going to set it all on fire and start over.

We do have a lot of stuff, but not too many big pieces though. It helped us to go through our stuff and gave like 8 trash bags full of stuff to Goodwill. hah.
It's hard for me to let go of things, and I gave a lot of my old Paul Frank shirts to Goodwill. It makes me sad, yet I never wear them anymore and I know it will make someones day to find one at Goodwill. It was just really hard. crying

I can be too... I'm more so of one for art things now, then ducks and Paul Frank. My art reference stuff is everywhere. I keep any piece of paper that I think I may use again because it has some kind of information on it about art. hah. Plus all the supplies!
So, are studio is now mostly together. Just need to buy a couple more things to finish up the look and hang pictures and such. You know, details. But it's mostly together! whee
