Right, since people might not know where to go, and it's pretty damn boring-- not to mention pathetic-- RP-ing alone (if there's one thing more pathetic than a nerd, it's a nerd who can't play with other nerds), this little thread is so that people can announce, to members and newbies alike, where they can go for some action, as well as write down suggestions for story arcs and stuff.
So, to newbies...
exclaim The Chao Bo Zhi, in the R&R Locations forum, is a pretty good place to start out and introduce yourself. Everyone passes through there eventually, it's the most popular spot.
arrow It's pretty safe to try crashing an ongoing Arc/Story/Scenario, provided you don't try to take control of it. evil It's pretty annoying when you do that.
idea When we say 'literate' we mean, 'can punctuate, capitalize and spell properly!!!'. Firefox users get a little red line under words that aren't spelled correctly, and I think Internet Explorer now has a spellcheck function, so use them, please.
heart If humanly possible, we're looking for characters that aren't mages, of which we already have a lot of. Remember you are roleplaying in an Akamatsu-verse. That means you have the option of hanyo (Kotaro, Setsuna), Vampires (Evangeline), Shinmei Ryu Swordsmen (Setsuna, Aoyama Motoko, Tsukiyomi, that teacher Setsuna fought in the future), mecha geniuses (Kaolla Suu), hackers (Chisame), robots/puppets (Chachamaru, Kieran/Ike-- one of the guild's most original characters', pity they're trying to kill my character), ermine (Chamo), demons (Count Graff, or whatever his name is...), Santa Clause Trainees (Itsudatte My Santa), Masters of Disguise (Urashima Kanako), ninjas (Kanako, Kaede)... You get the idea... but if you do, try not to mage them up...
