(what had really happened after they teleported out of the Academy- after emerging in the spot where Falconer showed up, he quickly moved them further away to a different location, to throw anyone off the trail. They have just reached a cliff-face high in the mountains surrounding Mahora. The sun is rising, casting the rays upon the city far, far below... They are standing on a large, flat outcropping.)

"And here we are." Savant and Ren emerged onto the large stone platform, of sorts. "And now... We ride the airship."

Rather odd statement, as there seemed to be nothing of the sort anywhere around...

"I didn't expect you to. It's cloaked right now. But here it is now..."

Although she couldn't see the thing, the wind started to pick up, as if a large gust just crossed the mountaintops-

then it appeared. All at once, a huge airship, almost directly over their heads, came into existence. It looked like a ship that sailed on water, but with all kinds of strange-looking metallic plates and devices attached to it. As well as the numerous sails that looked like they were large solar collectors. It started down towards them, as Savant and Ren backed off to let it land.

"There she is. The Colinchemarde. Small, but fast as anything. A couple of my teammates are already aboard..."

(and if you recognize that name, it's no coincidence... XD)

He looked at her incredulously. "Daisuke was right about your imagination... I guess you've never seen an airship before. Don't worry, you'll be accustomed to it soon enough..."

He watched the ship's sails slowly shift around as it switched to hover mode.

[I can't believe you forgot already... the name of Kurotsubame's zanpakuto... crying ]

"I can't say exactly where, but I can tell you it's a quick stop first to Daisuke's house... In Germany. As for after that, you'll have to ask Elfriede. She's on the ship right now..."

He nodded. The airship had docked, and out popped who you assumed had to be Elfriede. She wasn't someone, at first glance, you would expect to be a partner of Savant's... She vaulted over the side of the ship, spun through the air with astounding dexterity, and landed at Ren's feet. Without saying anything, she seized Ren's hand, gave a powerful shake, then drew her into a crushing hug and spun her around- she let go at a full circle, but still holding on to Ren's hand, so she stopped at arm's length, then released her. The effect was dizzying and a bit disorienting. Ren nearly fell flat on the ground.[.color]

"aww! She's cyuute! Good job, Savant! You know how to pick' em!"
She leaned near Ren again. "I'm Elfriede Lisher. But you can call me Elf."

She grabbed Ren around the neck, in what was kind of a hug/strangehold...

"Aww! I'll call you Ren-chan then! Did I mention she was cyuute, Savant?"

Savant had already gotten onto the ship. "Hurry up, you two. I don't want to waste time."

Elf let go of Ren and gave a salute- but a rather demented one at best- her arm was cocked at the elbow and wrist, with the base of her hand on her forehead and fingers twiddling in the air. "Aye-aye, Captain Grumpy-pants!"

She grabbed Ren by both hands. "Come on cyuutie, let's get on board before he tries to leave without us." She lead her up the gangplank and onto the strange looking ship.

Elf bounded up the stairs to the tiller. "I'm the mechanic and navigator of the Colinchemarde. I restructured this whole ship!"

Savant went down below decks. "Tell me when we're in Germany. And keep Ren out of trouble."

Elf did her salute again. "What the furher commands, I interpret and perform with my own incompetence!"

She looked over at Ren. "You can look at it later, we've got a long ride ahead of us. We have to pick up Vant in Romania first. So come up here and keep me company! It's so nice to have another girl on the ship..."

"yep! heart Don't fall out, or you'll totally go splat!"

[there were no windows up on the main deck- only a low railing...]

"So who was Mahora? Was it hard for you to leave?"
